Hi comrades,

just today noticed after a battle that i got some consumable skill that says it will train perk to 100% (i add screenshot to make it clear) but dont see any option i can use it.

Or its used auto? Not sure what it does for real so thought someone can drop the real reason its in game, how and for what to use it,if its possible.

Thanks for all info in advance.

They are called Directives and they are single use consumables that either give the equivalent of a skill/perk at 100% or act as equipment.

You use them much the same way you use any consumable  ie in one of the 3 slots you would add a repair kit or food.

Natural cover gives you 100% concealment skill for one battle.

Orderly Ammo Rack gives the effect of having a rammer installed again just for one battle.

You can buy them using bonds which you also win occasionally.

For a whole load of bonds you can also get superior equipment but its very expensive,

Actually, the Directives slot is a fourth slot to the right of the regular consumables. If it is anything different then I apologise as I have never used them but the slot is there.

If you've been playing Frontline any then you've been showered with them. Might want to take a look as an extra 10% camo is never bad.

I played one battle in the original Frontline event. I had NO idea what I was doing and even less desire to learn what to do. I haven't touched it since, but I do have quite a few directives.

These are quite useful but one battle per directive used, be careful you don't leave auto replenish ticked as this can use your Bonds up very fast.

There are two types, one for crew - usefull in using if crew are not trained to 100% on a particular perk or skill. The directives will give give additional benefits if your crew are well trained though. So if your crew all have camo at 100% then using the directive Natural Cover will increase camo by 2.5%.

Other is for equipment soI tend to use them on arty, so for instance, if I have 'normal' vents fitted that increases crew by 5%, using the one time directive vent purge increases crew by 2.5%.

There is a slot for directives right next to the consumables, you put that there. There are directives for crew that give as crew skill to 100% (pretty useful for commanders that don't have Sixth Sense for example) and directives for equipment, note that those work only if you have the equipment installed to your tank, for example if your tank has ventilation installed, you can boost it with ventilation directive but it won't have an effect if you don't have ventilation equipped on your tank.

They cost nothing and you may have lots built up, especially since they drop in the random loot thing,  so make the most of them.

For me directives are like those potions you find in RPGs  you hoard them like crazy because you think when you meet the end of game boss you will need them

Game ends and your character retires and opens a potions store.

I keep thinking maybe some time in the future I can turn directives into something else like equipment or sell them for bonds.

Same thing with bonds sure I can buy better equipment but what if I can eventually buy a tank.

Realistically the game will end and I will still have every bond and directives I ever received.

The box with the lighting icon in it next to the consumable slots in the garage. Either they give all your crew 100% on the skill that can use it. Or a bonus if they have it to 100%. Like 10% more camo on your tank, or a 1 shorter delay on 6th sense. Others like Vent purge only works if you have the equipment mounted on the tank.

The directives are uselful for Clanwars / competitive gaming events mostly.

Sometimes the rate of fire makes a difference between equally skilled heavy players or a margin on the scout / cammo balance.

I found the revenge call directive useful to grind severely underperforming scouts in tech trees. They may come in useful for some top level campaign missions where you need consistent performance over several rounds of random.
