Hi Guys,

Just a word of warning. I figured out that the XP you get with Blueprints is not evenly divided over the fragments.

Say, you want to research the Object 430 II, like I did, with blueprints only. There are 10 fragments to research, so you think, if I use blueprints to create 9 fragments, I only have 10 % of the XP left to research.

But guess what, that is not the case,  the 10th and final fragment actually stands for 19 % of the total amount of XP needed... I have 9 fragments researched but are still at 81 % discount..

Funny isn't it?

Oh, thanks I didn't know that. I thought each fragment was a fixed % amount, proportional to the number of fragments.

Well... it does indeed not mention it anywhere as such that it works like that besides the "tutorial info" it had when it was added that's now gone.

But as a tier X for instance needs 12 fragments, each giving a 7% discount. A quick math run with 12 at 7% each, and you will notice it won't add up suddenly. Or like a tier 4. That's now 18% pr fragment, with 4 fragments in total. Or a tier 5 with 15% with 6. As that's 90% in total. The last is only rewarded if you have all 6 pieces.

If you want to research the tank using blueprints only, what does it matter how much xp is tied up behind the last fragment?

I understand your point that it's not an even distribution but as you can still research a tank without earning a single xp on the preceding tank, I don't see what the 'funny' part is.

Why would you want to skip the 416?! It's a fantastic way to raise your blood pressure, spend half the battle trying to find a small bump that you can use to get gun depression, discover that not all Soviet tanks have armour AND reduce your credits by a huge amount because it's so expensive to ... oh, right ... yeah, wish I'd thought of that.

I don't need that sort of masochism in my life, I already play arty when I don't have a mission. :hiding:
