The top server clans from Fire Trail fought to create a server champion.

Now EU champion will fight NA champion and the winning clan will fight RU winning clan.

But note the rule announcement;

The match in a nutshell

  • [DE-VI] (EU) versus [MAHOU] (NA)
  • Match start: 3 August, 20:00 CEST
  • Format: 15 vs. 15, reward tanks are not allowed, Best of 9 (five victories required to win)
  • Prizes:
    • Winner: 50,000 for the clan treasury
    • Loser: 35,000 for the clan treasury

Fire Trail was dominated by T95/FV4201 Chieftain and Object 907 (with a side order of Object 260 and 279e). But the clan champions are not being allowed to use reward tanks.

Does this indicate that in the next CW campaign "reward tanks are not allowed"?

I mean you know there's one way to get one and that's earning it. Whatever way WG decide to make the rules around tanks for the next campaign I seriously doubt it will change the outcome. The meta will just go back to pre-Chieftain where clans just take S. Conq's and WZ 5A's instead. You can complain about 907's but their "OP shine" has really faded since the last 2 years of gold ammo spam kicked off having that troll armour doesn't mean sh*t. The only buff to the 907 has been the ammo rack buff and a bit of extra armour on the front which, like I said already, doesn't mean anything when you have a brain or fire prem rounds with half a braincell.
