Hi guys, i was wondering, WG said they will bring new event or marathon or whatever it was to the game in 2019.

So, can anyone explain about it?

I mean, if they mean bond equipment, then we already have them offered, CW reward tanks? Or unique old premium tanks for bonds?

Make up your mind already.

Is it lame or is it oh-so-unfair that f2p players can't get both from Homefront?

nah,.. I dont envy F2P players, they more than pay for their progress or equipment  with their time,...

I am just asking whyone needs to play 1 year or more (be it P2P or F2P) to get 1 single piece of equipment that cant be switched between tanks anyway???

and if that 40% toolkit is really worth that 3000 bonds and which tank to mount on??

Bonds are earned at higher tiers quicker, and in FrontLines you can earn thousands of bonds over the FL season. Also with CW you can pick up a few bonds as well.

They are meant to be a currency that you can't buy but that's been subject to a little debate recently. The principle may be sound, but improved equipment was not something that was asked for by the playerbase. That is purely a WG design.

Many players just use food at higher tiers anyway. The improvement with equipment has to be carefully thought through.

Maybe optics on a light tank you're using for missions?

Maybe a rammer and vents on your heavy tank?

They also cost bonds to move between vehicles, so they're not something you can throw around like normal equipment.

I'd not worry about having improved equipment, or grinding for bonds. Pick them up in Frontlines/Ranked or tier 10 when you're comfortable playing those modes.

Well, they'll come then, but seriously don't worry about not having improved equipment.

I dunno,. some say that having an improved rammer is a  matter of  life or death...

I have  6,650 bonds, and I'm an average player, but i try to get the easiest medals for bonds, High caliber and Steel wall.

And i play tier 10 because i really enjoy playing it with my favourite tier 10s.

Can't it be moved around freely... just like the regular toolkit though?

I happen to have 10k because that anniversary gave me like 4k for free, so while I can indeed buy bonded equipment(first thing would be to bond my rammer/vents in my keeper KV-2) I'm saving it from the occasion, and I'm sure it will be worth while

I challenge you to find a replay where you can say you definitely lost because the enemy had bond equipment and you didn't. That's how little of a difference it makes in practice.
