Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with acoustics recently? On and off over the last few days, my acoustics have been badly distorted, particularly during battle - guns, voice, collisions etc. Might be just my connection of course, as BT have been fannying about with our landline connections lately, but it would be nice to be able to rule out any probs with the WG servers. Comments would be appreciated.

Sound is local.
Nothing to do with your internet

All I can suggest is that if you’ve got Nvidia ensure you choose advanced and untick the sound driver that gets installed with the video card updates. Don’t know how many times my sound has fked up due to that

Had a problem just other day with new headphones....

Plugged in up pops Nvidia control panel thingy clicks on headphones and which 'jack' I was using the 'ok'.

Fires up WoT, thought it sounded different but never bothered went into battle fired gun nearly pooped me pants. Seems as though I had clicked on ambience for steel room or whatever it's called.

A quick change, to pants, and settings and everything was back to normal.

I have a SoundBlaster Z card. Today the sound was fading out as though I had put ear defenders on and it was very weird. One time the game crashed, but it has been doing that anyway. I updated my drivers which are hardly recent, but newer than the ones I had.

Thanks for the replies guys - much appreciated! I'm afraid I''m one of those weirdo's that run WoT on Mac OS, and not at all techy minded, so updating video drivers etc is a bit beyond me - as far as I know, all that sort of stuff happens with the main Mac updates.

This problem is very intermittent - eg this morning was bad, but this evening no problem, and no other programs are affected - also was no problem prior to the last WoT update so maybe a corrupt file within the WoT client? Is that a possibility, or am I spouting nonsense, as usual? :amazed:

It's possible.

Mac compatibility is an afterthought, if that, so could just be broken in this build.

Have you tried verifying the install?

I am having their sound randomly cut out, and back in  on my MB sound card and my Jabra UC voice 550 MS wich is on USB. No one seems to care here on US server. This dev's are useless at taken care of game aspects or they jost don't give a foch . Only premium vehicles selling is top priority.

Hey wargaming personnel,  do you think we deserve an answer or you just think that you ignore us until we go away ?

Thank you for the suggestion Baldrickk. I'm away from home atm,  with a really rubbish Internet connection, so will have a look at that when I get back.
