Hi Guys & Gals,

So what do you think of the announcement that on the next Global MAP event will be 10 v 10 players ?  I think it will be a good thing, it's summertime which makes it even harder for us more casual clans , however even we should be able to get 10 players on a regular basis.

It's nice to see WG being a bit innovative - I do also wish during these long evenings they would push out the start time a bit as it's impossible for me to be online at 6pm Irish time.

What's your thoughts on this ?  I guess some will just see it as a response to a declining playerbase but I like to see the positives.

Cheers

Shane

p.s. yes I know there's a different forum section but this is where all the Kool Kidz hang out :)

most idiotick system ever, now all good clans will get all the gold from GM and midle and poor cland will not get anything.... 15 vs 15 top 20 clans get about 5-6 teams on the move..and now they will get 8-10 teams who will take all provinces and then we add this stupid alliance system to this...... yeah top 20 clans will take all gold from GM... so great idea WG... NOT!

Changing campaigns on the lower tiers to lower numbers was already a death sentence for them, since you would no longer get the variety in tanks.

Now they will do so to T10s, as was to be expected at some point as they also changed the skirmishes to that.

I wonder however how diverse the battles will be.

Top clans rolling with full reward tank setups will be nice, I bet there will be a maximum of 3 tanks other than reward tanks in battles (e3/e4/ebr/strv/foch50b/(tvp)).

Maximum one arty per battle as if you take 3 and enemy does not and they notice they can just push you and easy win. So you wont be able to properly break camps anymore. Sounds like a great idea.

I wonder if there are actually more people playing the T10 skirmishes than before they changed it from 15>10, I even wonder if there are more battles nowadays than before.

10 v 10 has maybe more to do with it being in the summer months so they might as well try it. I doubt many will play it so soon after the last campaign.

CW needs to go to a league system like WOWS, no more of this technical loss and victories rubbish and it removes the stress out of it. When your team is ready hit battle.

This is a good question and I wonder the same thing.

Obviously when they trialled it the saw a 5x increase in the number of players.

Personally I've only ever played one 15 v 15 Tier 10 Skirmish, it was the week before the change.  Since then I've played 100s.

It also runs concurrently with the Tank Festival thing, (inc Frontlines) so that wil also cut numbers.

10v10 just puts more pressure on individuals as the missed shot now carries a higher penalty.

10v10 just puts more pressure on FCs to send players to the right spot at the right time.

10v10 games are likely to be over quicker meaning more time spent waiting in the garage

But I'm in favour of it

Horrible change, we'll see even less variety in team setups than we currently do, it restricts tactical options even further, and is a clear push towards forcing faster gameplay at the cost of fun and strategy.

I didn't think that WG could do much more to make me want to play less, but yet again they've outdone themselves...
