Looks like a Panther in terms of its gun but has an appalling 10bhp per tonne power to weight ratio...

Ah, the good old Vader panzer... Was good as a tier 5, but at tier 6, going against tier 8s with the mobility of a freakin Super Pershing, no armor and 75mm gun? Sure, the improved gun handling it gets compared to the Panther clones on tier 6 is welcome, but with no mobility...

Is there actually a German Panther in game that's vaguely historic?

 

As Polish & French ones don't count and neither does the T7 Tech tree tank although I do enjoy that vehicle...

Bought it a while ago. Regret that purchase. It's a good gun on a terrible platform. They should give it at least 15 hp/tonne. It doesn't have the power, nor the topspeed to be even remotely effective on the battlefield.

 

I like quirky vehicles, but this one isn't any fun.

Oh look, the tank that we had for free in the game which was then removed and sold back to us because it was very popular. Like the T-28 with the 85mm.

I always heard the VK 30.02 (M) is the most historically acurate Panther in the game. It basically is the D-version, before they mounted the bow machine gun. One of those can be seen in a park in Breda, in the South of the Netherlands. Looks exactly like the VK.

Superb gun stats for a tier 6. However given the poor hp/t, and lack of specials on equipment I think I'll give this one a pass. I don't want to fork out 850k on equipment for a tier 6 tank right now, already sitting with some unused tanks in the garage due to equipment shortages.

I got to play it on another account. With a crew with 1,5 perks it just felt like a tier 5.5 tank on tier 6...

Hmmmm WG so clever - lets sell Panther hull with Pz.IV turret.... and Pz.IV hull with Panther turret... what will be next? Maybe there are still some whales with wallets ready?
