After gathering much credits I finally got it. And still o need credits for equipment. So please tell which are the best equipment for this tank and also how should I play with it brawl or sneaky chicken?.I know in low tier mm u might brawl with it but against  thishigh tier tonk armor becomes somewhat of wtaufpz4...

My guess would be rammer-vents-optics to maximize the wonderful DPM. View range bonus is always good, both as top tier while pushing and as bottom while defending.

From an hulldown position at medium distance you can bring havoc with the top gun great DPM, good alpha and accuracy. Also the superstructure, while is no match for tier 9 gold, is covered for a good part with the gun mantlet. From mid range it drastically reduce enemy's chance to pen you, even with 340 pen HEAT round.

As top tier don't be scared by trading HP to gain advantage (like killing an enemy top tier). 2100 HP are really a lot, being the highest tier 9 HP pool IIRC.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time since I've used it and not done so post buff.

I would go with vents, optics and GLD as it reloads fast, so would want to be aimed in fully to ensure maximising DPM. But, that's just my thoughts - absolutely NO research etc to back it up :)

EDIT:- I assumed OP was talking about the Premium one....

You will find it down below.

And jdtiger is a sneaky tank, the opposite to jd.panzer e100, it's armor is tricky, but can be fully paned almost everywhere with golds.

So, try to stay a away from face to face fights(unless you have to go forward to win the battle ofc).

By leaving it in the garage. :(

It was decent 10 years ago, but I've stopped using it when there was still only WoT beta. Nowadays with all that "gold" flying around it's not even "meh".

Problem with the Jagdtiger it's like many of the older tanks a relic of the past it really doesn't fit into the current meta, it's slow, big and zero camo and don't make the mistake of thinking it has armor it doesn't the superstructure is only around 250-260mm effective most T9 and some T8 can pen it with normal ammo never mind with gold.

The only way to really play it is hull down and hope you don't get spammed with gold ammo, the only bright spot is the gun is excellent and really deals out damage if you're lucky enough to be left alone.

Jagdtiger at tier 9 I would say its best use is to follow the heavies.. Even then find hard cover and hug it as best as you can to avoid arty and/ to avoid showing your flank.

Dpm is great, gun is great, pen is good, alpha is good. Don't waste its potential by going sneaky. If you do so and play from the back, in most cases you just get swarmed and outspotted at the end of the battle.

Tier 9 if it was tier 8 I would mention 8.8cm

Play it mid range, not too far back - it's not stealthy, but you also have to take into account the lack of turret.
Go Hulldown if possible.

It's surprisingly mobile for its size, so don't be afraid to close the distance when necessary.

The gun has a good balance between alpha and ROF.

In a pinch, you can sidescrape with it.

Rammer, vents and toolbox imho for equipment. As a non turreted TD that can't rely on camo to not get shot, you don't want to be spending time tracked.
Likewise, repairs as a crew skill is even more useful than 6th sense most of the time in this.

Going by tank.gg comparison, it does not fare bad against it's class peers on tier 9 (incl. WTaufPz4 with 128 and 150mm guns).

2nd highest DPM with average to good pen, fairly good gun handling, fair mobility, some armor and highest HP and highest view range.

It allows you to play different roles depending on MM and situation. It might not excel at anything, but it's flexible, except it's lacking a turret, obviously.

It's similar to the FV's, in the sense that it either has extremely bad games or extremely good ones.

Most of the time you will be too slow to keep up with your allies on both sides of the roflstomp(win/defeat).

But when you get a game where you can keep the gun singing, it's incredibly fun.

So as long as you accept the trash games, and enjoy the occasional games in which you murder everybody with great alpha and great dpm, it's a pretty good tank.

The way I play it:

  1. Bot your way through the stock grind. (First tracks because reasons... then gun) x3 and x5 weekends do help.
  2. Mount rammer, vents and gld (I think)
  3. At the start of a battle, press 'W' until you meet enemies
  4. Try to hide your lower plate and shoot them
  5. Wiggle & keep moving to get some bounces
  6. Profit (don't use premium stuff)

Stay at "safe" distance and try to use your "accurate" German gun.

Against lower tiers you can actually play more aggresively.

For equipment, use Gun Rammer, Coated Optics/Binos and Ventilation.

The main problem is zero armor.....and engine dies a lot in this thing...
