Why are there so many frustrating stock tanks in the game? Clearly nobody likes this.

I am TRYING to get anything done with the IS3 but i can't even pen people with premium ammo with this terribad gun. Many credits have been lost and no progress has been made. It isnt even good enough versus tier 8's and im being paired against tier 9 and 10 as well, at which point not a single shot will go through.

And you want me to grind 40k exp? No thanks.

That's what free xp is for, to get some modules you really want/need on your stock tank.

Not everybody wants to spend money on free exp. The rate at which they are naturally generated isnt nearly enough to buy me any significant upgrade.

With all these missions and reserves you generate a lot of freeXP just by playing without need for exchangimg it for gold.

A stock IS-3 is a miserable experience, i feel your pain. Use FL to grind your tier 8s, it's a lot easier if you're playing against same tier tanks. As a bonus you'll also get some nice credits.

Well I liked it when I started playing. I played and played (ok it was more like pressing w and dying the first minute or two) and then I got to unlock a bigger gun and I was like

AWW YUSS COME GET SOME

I don't really feel the same way now though. Just saying that upgrading your tanks can have its charm.

Agreed. I like to play for the feeling of progressing. I guess, when I have all tanks unlocked and available, I would stop playing the game.

Oh yeah definitely, i love it too!!

Its just when your stock gun is SO TERRIBLE that i end games with 0 damage cuz 5 or 6 bounced/didnt pen. Decreased the damage i don't care, just give me a chance to do damage lol

That's a choice everybody has to make for themselves. Personally I never play my tanks stock, I will use free xp to unlock at least the tracks and a good gun.

If you're not willing to invest a small amount of money into FXP or a Prem Account, maybe even both then suffer the stock grind lols

F2P the game maybe but how do you propose WG stays in business?

So you think its okay that when you buy a new tank, something that should feel awesome and fresh, is completely ruined except when you spend money? WG shill detected. It isnt their only source of income you know. Besides that stock tanks ruin games simply through their inability to contribute meaningfully?

Well.. the charm quickly wears off when you think of playing another tier 9 with their usual terribad stock configs in the most unforgiving environment.

How many battles have you played in your IS-3?

How many do you feel would be a fair number to have to play before you earn enough xp to upgrade it? And why?

I want to play exactly zero games with this awful gun, because it is a boring and frustrating and unrewarding experience. Its not about removing progression in the tank, i don't want that at all, just make the initial experience at least bearable. I had it shelfed for some time because i decided i want to continue the grind at some later point, but im about to just sell it cuz every single game is torture.

Has it really taken you 6000 battles to realise playing stock tanks is a miserable experience? Newsflash it's meant to be to get you to spend a few quid on converting free XP. Wargaming are a business after all. I suggest you get over your sense of entitlement and decide how much your time is worth. Personally I don't play a tank untill I have the top gun and top engine. I only have a couple of tier 6 premium tanks but they generate enough XP to convert to free XP to upgrade tech tree tanks. Wot is pretty damn cheap compared to most other hobbies and passtimes

You think its by their grace that we can play this game for free? Of course its designed to make money and ONLY money. Customer satisfaction is not considered in any way as shown in many wargaming anti-consumer policies and gameplay mechanics. Having to spend money to have fun is a terrible thing and should not be supported by anybody. You know nothing about entitlement because all you do is blindly shove money down their throats.

I must say I'm getting satisfaction reading your entitlement whine.

Do you know what entitlement is? Expecting everybody to be able to shell out cash just because you can easily do it.

Much as you may want it to be its not

A sense of entitlement is the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.

What do you think Wargaming's business model is?

Here's a hint: they're a business, so they want to make profit.

So either people can play through rubbish stock grinds, or they can open their wallets.

Or they can spend dozens of battles in other tanks to earn enough free experience that way.

So pick your poison and go with the flow.
