No suprises then, more nerfs to placate the whiners but also buffs to the wheelies!

Pointless patch.

What did they add to cars? Airplane engine? Or wings?

And is there any link?

Changes to the Wheeled Vehicles

  • Optimized performance of the engine modes.

When switching between the modes, the wheeled vehicles will not lose engine power anymore. This is especially important when switching from the Cruise to Rapid mode. Now the wheeled vehicles will not slow down before speeding up. The wheeled vehicles will simply keep building up the speed.

  • When switching between the modes, the wheels will be retracted and lowered down more realistically.
  • Optimized performance of the movement physics.

When running into an obstacle, it will be easier to regain control over the movement of the wheeled vehicle in some cases.

  • Added the option of switching between the drive modes for the wheeled vehicles during the pre-battle count down. The same applies to the Swedish tank destroyers.

Phew, I've almost lost count of the times I've wished I could start the battle in siege mode so I could use that 5km/h top speed to get into position.

Well played WG.

Now they can switch while moving, then i guess all people feedback was about this. And they did fix it. Now let's give WG more feedback, so they do the opposite. :)

Yeah,  so many improvements for wheels.
Fixing a bug and making the physics engine not choke.

Exactly, or use it to destroy team arty as fast as possible!!!!

Now you can destroy it in the first 5 secs! :D

No team dmg remember, also killing friendly arty no matter how much you despise them just means you'll subject your team to getting debuffed and damaged by enemy arty without any hope of actual counterplay from your teams SPG's.

edit: to be somewhat constructive towards the OP, I've added this:

Changes to Customization in Update 1.6

During the redesign of the interface for interacting with Decals, we encountered some technical issues, due to which we had to remove previously applied projection Decals from your vehicles.

Don't worry—these Decals haven't disappeared and are still stored on your account. You can find them in the Exterior tab and apply them on your tanks again for free, using the reworked interface.

Hi!

I just checked the new brits light tanks and realized, that the tier-7 gets significantly better basic gun than my tier-7 USA T71 top gun. There's nearly 40mm pen difference from top gun of T71 to basic brit's gun. Not to mention brits tier-7 gets ANOTHER gun with even better pen, that looks like the best pen among all tier-7 tanks.

WG, you REALLY need to reduce the amount of intoxicants available for your dev team.  :(

BR,  Iztok

With some teams you will still get there first

As you don't mention which T71, I assume you mean the one with an autoloader ?

how does everything else compare?

Guess when you blindly look at just 1 stat you can still make the mistake of thinking the worst T7 LT is actually good.

It also has more armour and a better aim time!

OP! It's OP I say.   Needs nerfing.

Kicking myself a bit for buying the Cromwell and grinding up a decent crew on it (well, grinding the credits for a crew book, anyway) while earning the xp for the tier 7 light. Seems that I'd need to throw a lot of free xp at it to make it anywhere near useful or play it with a hobbled pop-gun. Is there any other tank that uses the QF (ha!) 6-pdr with such a long reload? :sceptic:

Otherwise the patch looks alright so far. The dog tags are a bit of fun, interesting that they tell you up front that if you buy anything specific you won't have enough tickets to get everything. Wonder how many completionists will be complaining about that in a couple of months time when the event ends?
