With a premium tank.

You need to free yourself from the thought that this is a "free-2-play" game.

Grinding credits without any booster, premium or whatever means playing Tier 5-6 exclusively so you get 10k per game.

Join a clan the runs credit booster and play premium tanks.  In your case the T-50-2.  Use it to get Personal missions done.

Play the next marathon, in two months or something, and get yourself a tier 8 premium. That's it, there are no other ways around it.

Very late edit: I don't know how i forgot this but you can get 2 tier 8 premiums for free using the referral program. Here is the list:

  • T92
  • FV4202
  • AMX M4 mle. 49
  • Panther 8,8
  • 8,8cm Pak 43 Jagdtiger

In general, with decent performance you can grind credits at tier V and VI, M44 at tier VI is a good money maker, or alternatively get a premium tank from the ones that WG gives for free, that means if you don't already have one, wait for a marathon or something.

I'm kinda surprised nobody went for a 'git gud' yet, and I don't know how I should feel about that.

Increasing gud lvl is expensive.

Buy a premium E25, max out the camo and view range, use chocolate. Learn to use your view range circles and where to go on the maps. Watch the credits roll in.

1. Tier8 Premium tanks are still the best way to make credits by a large margin. You can pick these up occasional throughout the year for free by completing marathons but are generally demanding and time consuming. Instead, it's just about making the decision to have one and if money is tight, taking advantage of a summer sale like we had recently though it's never long until there is a discount so don't worry about missing it.

2. The old reliable non-premium thus 100% free method. Playing tier5 tanks with tier4 and 6 to a lessor extent. To maximize profits use thanks that make their living for as cheap as possible, this can be light tanks that have good view range and camo for their tier, which make a living simply spotting assist and letting their teammates do the shooting, which keeps running costs at a minimum though this is team and map reliant so not particularly reliable. The other cheap options are tanks that possess combinations of high standard pen and alpha which again, keeps things really cheap. Then finally there are several derp options. Derp guns firing HE at tier5 are very effective at dealing damage and tracking assists vs any tier they face along with being ultra cheap to run. There's multiple choices of derp gun tanks at tier5 in both heavies and mediums, even a few TD's.

3. Keep an eye on your personal mission options available. These are often rewarded with chunky amounts of credits or items you can sell along with premium days. Also, like I do, equip your tanks with the basic consumables such as small repair kits and small med kits etc. This allows the regularly free large repair kits and large med kits etc to build up which you can then periodically sell for large chunks of credits.

4. Try and make best use of discount weekends. While building credits is good, it's even better when you don't have to spend half as much on tanks and items which is effectively saving you the need to have to build credits half as much.

5. If you have old tanks you really don't like or play at all for a long time, sell them. Some players collect and keep all the tanks they have, not me, I prefer to move them on and buy another one I'm interested in or just for an injection of credits.
