Just seems to get better maps?

Better team mates?

Better gun handling??

Just seems to be more fun to play

Congrats on the new toy but i can't think of a way the Škoda will be more fun than the Progetto. 12 battles, right?

It's the Shoggoth guardians that assist at all times.

I think its because it's the L71 in a cliploader, the best gun in the game IMO

ding ding ding

Putting it into a clip upgrades it to a tier 8

Plus reasonable camo

At tier 7 the krupp is a beast

Gun handling on the Progetto is markedly better, so perhaps it's simply RNG working in your favor.

People say the t27 is just a worse progetto in every way, but for some reasion i completely blow in the progetto with a terrible winrate, while in the skoda i have so much impact. I get so much damage and kills done its insane, got multiple 3k damage games and im in no way a unicum or anything. Emptying a clip in 5.4 seconds is really good.

T27>spaghetto, here i said it!!

I think I would prefer it too over the progetto.

I don't know what my issue is but I just can't get to grips with these auto re-loaders. I failed pretty much with the standard B and outside of FL I rarely play the progetto. Perhaps it's my age, my understanding, IDK but I much prefer normal autoloaders.

BUT

I'm not going to waste £30 on the T27 as the supertest nerf it got pretty much ruined it.

Thought I was the odd man out. I can't get the hang of how long it'll take to reload depending on how many shots I've fired, much easier knowing I've got a burst of three or four shots and then I need to reload for a set time. :D

I also won't be getting the T 27, I have plenty of premium tanks for credit grinding and I've got decent crews in my keeper CZ tanks with the best ready to move up to the TVP 50/51. I might be tempted if it comes up as part of a future trade-in window but full price is too steep, even if it comes with access to the missions to get a female crew (that I have no tank to put them in).

Both have their pros and cons, if you're adept at playing A-L's and adept at playing A-R's then you're different style approach with each one will make either choice work very effectively. I have come to find A-R's to be the slightly stronger options by way of offering the flexibility to play single shot mode but with the burst damage option to call too, so it's the best of both worlds but obviously balanced by having slower and slower reloads for every extra shot in the clip that's emptied.

In this game, there are times where you can only realistically pick a single shot, and so you can see how the Progetto will be quite happy to play that engagement too for that period of the battle and will constantly be reloading that single shot fired plus this is the fastest reload for the Progetto whereas the T27 obviously is not happy about this one shot trade encounter and would be looking for it's much preferred burst damage engagement where it can unload all 3... the Progetto can do that all 3 burst engagement too and is almost as fast about emptying its drum so... you can see the Progetto is just more flexible and not pigeon holed into a forced role of having to try and get 2-3 shots every time but has the ability to do that too. That said, A-L's are very strong and fun to play, I play amx, b-c, T71 and others so it's not like I find them weak, they're not, they're very strong for having that burst damage but still, not as flexible imo and with a 3 shell mag tends to be a case of if you make 2 shots and can't fire the 3rd shot will reload anyway so there are many moments of missed opportunities to attack along with extended periods of vulnerabilities during these A-L's reloads so the theoretical dpm and the actually dpm... some battles you get all 3 shots most times, other moments in which you make just 1 shot, decide it's a good time to make a push but will not go with 2 shells so will stop and take a reload.... not very flexible this way and with the Progetto or Pantera, Standard B etc you are always reloading so you just reloading that one single missing shell from your mag much sooner than a full A-L reload needs to do to replace that 1 missing shot from its same 3 shell mag and so the Italian is better imo.

Edit- Also, with the A-R system, you can grind down enemy tanks one shot at a time with sensible play and then once within a 2 shot of your tank, go in and clip him whereas you can't do this with the A-L, certainly not as seamlessly and gracefully. The enemy tank will know you're A-L must reload so he will try bait you to shoot and miss a shot or two and then he knows he has the green light to come in and knock you around the place.

I have found the experience very frustrating.  Last night played 16 games in the T27 and won 2.  Yes of course 'git gud' may well be part of the issue but when you do more damage than anyone else on your team (and the enemy's) on several occasions, its no longer that much fun.  On the plus side, I have still got all but one of the 5 x XP you get with the Ultimate purchase :(

I always think that the T27 is similar in play style to the T69 - pop out at a distracted enemy, fire 2/3 shots then back into cover.

Maybe you are better in ambushing tanks.

Progetto has 2s intraclip, and low shell velocity which can limit ambushing.

Absolutely love the T69, needs a buff but it is underrated nevertheless. :)
