Why is the Battle Buddy award/rank still being offered?

With friendly fire eliminated, this award should be discontinued.

Just like Beta season of Ranked battles badge, there's no beta anymore, but the players still have the badge. :)

No it is not just like... the beta badge does not get rewarded anymore, the battle buddy does.

I'd presume because shooting allies enough times will still turn you blue.

But your BB streak will not end if you hit allies. I guess they just forgot about it.

I thought it still registered that you were committing team damage, just that the actual damage isn't passed to the friendly tank?

Nah I have received a BB a couple of games after hitting an ally. Ok maybe I managed to hit two allies, but no one cares about the danger of driving in front of guns anymore and there's no need to hold back on the more dodgy shots anyway.  :child:

Well, 10/10 for effort then. Makes that badge even more pointless.

How about leaving team damage on, and give a nice litle reward for battle buddy...

No, we can't have that. That's toxic. Now go customize your dogtag that you can have rubbed in your victims faces.

Friendly fire removal dont mean ars---le removal. Push someone off a cliff, you'll still cop a ban ;)
