WG For heavens sake concentrate on fixing and improving the game instead of this inane rubbish.

You'd likely find them considerably less burdensome if you tried dying a little less frequently.

I just played my first one a minute ago in which this dogtag rubbish appeared.  It is quite annoying, not least since it seems to be completely pointless.  Is there any way to turn off this stupid "feature"?

WG dosen`t care about what you ask or demand for that sake. They do whatever they want as they always have. No wonder this game is FUBAR!

But hey.. keep spending your money so WG can figure out how to kill this game once and for all.

Restart the client after making the change. The dogtag is still displayed above the name of the guy that finished you off but the animation and silly noise don't play.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention as the previous five, six, seven or more threads on this subject were not enough for us to realise that some players had an issue with Dog-tags.

I just had a look through the DT menu before logging off. 50 tokens for this, 50 tokens for that, and I have eight! I don't think I will be losing any amount of sleep over it.

It's the first thread on it that I've seen as I don't spend all day watching the forum.

There is a mod that turns it off in game, but not in the garage. (Though maybe someone has done one for that too by now)

What were WG thinking when they put this in as a "feature"?

How could anyone think that anyone would want it?

Interesting though, this kind of feature has been on WoWs for ages and not only nobody complained, but it was regarded as a good mechanic.

Certainly totally different communities.

Why did they think it was a good mechanic?

Anything that doesn't generate at least 20 hate threads is considered a keeper

Unless it's arty or MM or, etc

Seriously I'm intrigued by Eviserator's comment that the guys on WoW think this is dogtag rubbish great, and I'd love to learn more on that

The dog tag thing looks to be lowering the game to the fortnite audience maybe they think there is more money in that.

Don't like it, but I wouldn't mind it too much if you could collect the tags of forumites, staff, or "top clan"-players. That would actually be a fun thing. :)
