NB: WG time to explain how it is possible WZ 111-5A does not penetrate the Progetto armor on the side, would it be time after ten years to finally repair it?
Notice the usual tanks WG !

I guess its written on  a phone...

@OP

The tonk works fine - autobounce angles are still present and you probably hit them or just crit something. Without a replay it is hard to say.

19k games and still not understanding you might have;

-hit tracks under the hull, which is quite large part, only pens tracks but doesnt connect to hull

-hit spaced which doesnt connect to hull or absorbed by spaced+tracks (this happens fast with HEAT)

-ricochet, doesnt happen for side armor as 40mm so 130mm gun should overmatch(if AP) but can happen you hit part of better armored turret at odd angle or at ricochet angle to frontplate

it is not rocketscience

anyways post a replay so people can check what you hit

After 10 years is an obvious fallacy.  Questioning your reasoning regarding the rest of your comments.  Start by getting your facts straight. The game has mechanics for penetration.  I will bet a reasonable amount of money that if you supply a replay of this non-penetration, much more knowledgeable people than me, will readily explain it.

It's just plain weird that it only happens with those 2 specific tanks :amazed:

I'm guessing you had HEAT loaded? You should know by now after almost 19K games how that works vs modules like tracks or huge spaced gaps. Even vs paper targets and 340 pen. As HEAT like HE detonates on the first thing they hit. And then they start to lose pen the more they travel after that. If the gap is too big, or the impact angle to wide so he has more distance to cover over the tracks. The travel distance will render it useless once it hits armor.
