Short answer: No.

Long answer: The czech-holidays-event is not a tank marathon. Marathons are officially put on hold until the tank festival ends.

I'd agree that it looks like a marathon, being structured like one and all, but in reality it's one big commercial for the new Skoda, nothing more. WG attempts to attract more buyers by offering better rewards to them. I'm 100% sure we'll get a 'classic' tank marathon between the festival and holiday ops, with the option to win a tank for free. You can quote me on that.

Edit: possible candidates imo: Räumpanzer M48, T54E2, Senlac

Although I suspect the Senlac will appear sooner, personally I'd like to see the Räumpanzer as a marathon reward.

No, it's mostly because there is one coming in Sept when asked about them in a Q&A awhile back. I guess they did not want two so close together. That and they wanted to do run an event for the Czech holidays regardless I suspect.

Tbh I don't mind it this way, as then you don't have to buy a €99 bundle to get equipment, crew and 5x missions for the tank if you just got the basic pack. And the rest gets something too. I'm not complaining about all the universal prints. So I can use up nationals I have on other nations even tho I have 100% the Czech tree. But if there are new lines added to it later. If ever. Then I can use the nationals on those.

Two questions:

1. Do we have to buy the Skoda T 27 to get the higher set of prices or is there any way of renting it or something like that?

2. Do we have to do each mission on that exact day or could you do two (or more) in a day? (Of course not in advance) Eg. do the 5th and 6th mission on day 6.

Yes and no more than one per day.

I just found this on Wargaming.net:

In total, there will be 10 stages that both novices and veterans can enjoy during this event. Missions unlock daily, with the first starting on August 9; you can begin playing any time before the end of the event and catch up on all the missions for the days you've missed.

For example: if you started completing tasks on the fifth day of the event, you can go through the missions for all the previous days and get rewards for them before August 19! Each new Czech Holidays mission will be available daily at 08:00 UTC.

Ah that's nice. I'm always hanging on the door so I didn't think of the catching up part. :P
