There is always much talk on here of good tanks, why they are too good, could be better, unfair, etc, etc.  Such talk is always negative, unconstructive and uninteresting.

But what of bad tanks?  If you can get a result in a bad tank then truly can it be said: Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.

The Pz IV Schmalturm is one such gem.  It's not much good, no beating about the bush on that.  But getting wins in it is far more exciting than getting wins in a good tank.

Bananas have a curved shape because they reach for the sunlight when they grow.

Here is my list of tanks that i enjoy a lot even tho i've been told they are useless, horrible, etc

some of them have interesting weaknesses that make them a fun and exciting to play to get around that said weakness. :)

60% wr and 2k+ wn8 in the G1...

Am I good with it, while the tank is bad? Is it just mostly luck after more than 200 battles? Or is the tank simply OP?

Whatever it might be, it is pretty entertaining to take to battle, and with a little bit of lady fortune on my side I might get that last percentage or so needed for my first ever 3rd MoE.

It's annoyingly slow, more sniper than proper medium, but sometimes when you know you can push, like this game just this evening....it gives a warm fuzzy....

3 MOE and 58% WR in the Churchill Gun Carrier. Unlike the Setter it can make an impact. Just as long as you're not spotted. Getting 2K+ damage in that in a tier 8 game is... an event. And the number of times people have said "relax we have a CGC" late game in a +2 when it's 2 vs 5. It gets me laughing each time. It's the only tank I get PM's on when it does do well in such situations.

Or even the Matilda IV. How I've maintained that +60% WR in it with 86 pen and an awesome 102 pay2win pen idk. No one ever says "oh s!#t a Matilda IV" do they? But a fair few underestimate it, and rush it thinking it's an easy win due to the bad rep it has.

Most players perform bad in it so it has low expectation values

So the most likely explanation is probably that the tank is meh and me being more patient in it than a lot of other tanks that I play.

The Matilda IV and Sentinel are both classic examples of "bad tanks" that yet somehow seem to pull in the wins.

Thanks to a load of SAGA customers, we will soon be able to enjoy bananas of any shape.

Played my Tiger P to about 57% before the introduction of Defender and were on the way towards 60% WR, but now, thanks to all the power-creep, it can't carry that many games anymore and my WR seems to go down to 50-54% :(

Sentinel is just a Matilda in terms of ROF with a tad less alpha traded for mobility. It bullies rather well tbh.
