Most of the games end 15 to 4 or 4 to 15 !

Hi guys , is it just me or the last 2-3 weeks team balances have been sh*t ? %80 of games that i play end quickly with one team sweeping the other one , there are only 3 games in the last 3-4 weeks that ended really closely , does this happen to you too ?

WG has all data they can get and they know that you lie.

It's what you get when you get lots of bad players in most games, they die in the first 2-3 minutes due to usually bad positioning and then the other team steam rolls from there as the remaining players have little chance or time to turn the game around. 

 

Had a game last night that was 15-2, myself and my platoonmate got 5k damage each, so a good for us overall but you could see the enemy were going to lose pretty quick as the majority of their heavies pushed the ice road on Mountain Pass and got held up by two tanks (against like 6), add in another couple of useless people camping base and you had half the enemy team in useless positions and out of the game.

 

Had another game on Steppes where the enemy basically didn't leave base, that was another 15-3, as our team pushed both flanks quickly and surrounded them. The game only lasted over 5 minutes because the last campers took a little while to dig out, but the game was won in the first 1-2 minutes. 

 

Bad positioning early on and people just dying stupidly quickly seems to cause quick one sided games, if both teams position a bit more properly the game has more chance to last a bit longer and that allows the better players on teams to do some work and they can often compensate for bad players.

 

But if you are surrounded because you haven't challenged any flank or half your team is one some useless flank not doing anything, doesn't matter how good you are, you wills struggle to overcome being outnumbered 2/3 to 1.

Be interesting to know if it is happening more.  I suspect it is, but never seen any actual stats on it.

Same I suspect it is, but don't have stats on it, just a feeling, though it seems to be shared by many.

having 60%+ recent winrates all time, not seeing much issue myself

 

sure i have had some immensly one sided games aswell, but im still happy if i carry my own weight and always know there are other games one sided to my favor. still equals out

2-3 weeks? Besides gold ammo, it's been a common complaint for years. But... according to my recent stats this patch. Less than 15% of my games have ended in 15-4 etc. Tho I suspect since over 100 of them have been in the Setter with that insane DPM. Low number could be due to the zero impact my insane DPM has on most maps.

That is the by product of template system and piss poor balance i.e. too big difference in power levels between tiers. This puts too much "pressure" for the few top tiers and when steve and billy-bob are no match for enemy teams counterparts... well rest of the bottomtiers and suck massive d and cry. Sure you bottomtiers can carry but in many cases that is just too much. 

 

Basically WG wants steve and billy-b to have a possibility for amazing game by providing them as easy targets as possible and at the same time they screw the game for rest of the team. It is what it is.

I have recorded results for most of my last 2500 battles. (only missing 112 battles). Average result is 15 - 6.2. No real variation if you narrow it down to 500 battle averages. Take it down to increments of 100 and it varies from 15 - 5.5 to 15 - 7.1. Interestingly, the 15 - 7.1 was not the last 100, but the 100 before ( approximately 2 weeks ago ).

 

There is no change to speak of during the whole period and my pattern as a poor player is probably lower than most so 15 - 6.2 is probably low compared to better players.

 

The concept that it is worse at any period over the past 3 months is not born out by my battles.

I think what you need is a few thousand battles in each of the past 3 years & compare whether it's changed over time (years).  You aren't going to spot anything meaningful over a short time period.

Well, I have noticed more hesitating at spawn when there are 2 or 3 Arty, because I suspect that they want others to be spotted first. If the opposing team then rush in force it is usually game over very quickly.

most of the battles end in 3 minutes. also. no tactic, no plan, no need to think, just random, as it is. its more roll the dice than world of something.

If you ask me there is a tipping point in every game.

 

As in a specific point where a team steamrolls the other if they press their advantage. 

 

I feel the issue is people not knowing when this is and acting on it. 

 

I've just about learnt how to stay alive in most games and now I'm trying to influence them more...
