so got Lakeville and went to scout, except WG have added extra bushes that block the view from the usual scouting bush by the houses, and I got spotted trying to sneak forward

WHY?

whats the point of blocking scouts from doing their job?

another example of WG ruining the maps, if I am a scout and you block me from scouting why have a scout class in the game?

Looks to me like your fat donkey got spotted from the church.  It's a hazard of going for that bush to get the 10m closer to the enemy.

that's not the problem

those bushes are new and stop you from spotting from the usual bush by the house just behind, a purely deliberate decision by WG to stop scouts spotting

and I think I was spotted by the other teams scout from the first set of bushes by the lake as you drive to city and have passed the road , C6 ish

I realized this when watching Skill's stream, he was also surprised when he noticed it. They do seem to have added bushes and make them bigger on some maps without mentioning it in the patch notes for some reason.

New?  I'm sure they were there the last time I played which is before 1.6

I assume the bush by the rock is still there, which is the one I always used anyway.

Lots of topics regarding the growing shrubbery around WoT since the last patch. Many bushes seem fuller and some have randomly popped up.

Seems to me that the enemy scout did his job just fine getting you taken out.

Maybe you just need to rethink your scouting approach?

if those bushes had not been placed there I could have been spotting perfectly

its simply a deliberate placement by WG to stop you scouting

If you can't spot him because of the bush, it works both ways, he shouldn't be able to spot you. Unless you're in a massive light with poor camo compared to others or you make a silly move like trying to run across that gap, in which case it's entirely your own fault.

But they are.

Question is why did you sit there with your big fat behind poking all the way back to where it can be seen from the church, if not the moon.

You know, engaging brain is more important than rushing to the same position every battle.

A camping bushwanking TD overkilling and destroying a LT that actually has a job to do.

Reason why this game no longer appeals me.

You seemed to be confused, perhaps better you stayed away as he certainly wasn't camping.

I suspect you got spotted by a light near the Charioteer. As in the bush right under him. That bush covers that field and will spot you going between the bushes near your wreck. If you want to spot the houses. You either go the long way around via the Progetto and hope the bushes cover your approach. Or mirrior his spot location and go to F4.

Not many of those bushes has moved around vs pre 1.0. But they made it more risky to push to the middle area along the lake vs before indeed, as the 4 lane has good overwatch there now. Personally I go F4 if I want to cross spot the houses. Or the bush next to the house on H6 to cover the road.

and he plays way more than me

why WG do you insist on ruining your game?

"Changes maps in order to alter gameplay dynamics" is not the same as "ruining your game", you just happen to not like a change. Stop being so melodramatic, learn what the changes are, adapt your playstyle for the relevant maps. You're wailing because you can't do the same thing you always did.

no

I am complaining because there is no reason to do this EXCEPT stop you from playing a scout as a scout

PRE 1.0 this used to be a great light tank map, now its ruined for light tanks
