doesnt seem interesting.

Well of course lets wait to see the rewards, but what history taught us is that its gonna be way to grindy for basic rewards while at the same time you give up your casual gameplay and tech tree advancement...

Didn't we have a mode called steel hunt some time ago?

Yeah, but that one was a dead fish as everyone lost credits while playing it... since it was tier 10 and they gave everyone 3 tempoary tanks to play with.

Other than that, some people rigged it so they could get the reward tank.

I'm old fashioned guy who likes crazy gameplay - I'd really love to see something like Cromwell-only (or WV!) deathmatch - something fast-paced from the beginning, no power-ups, tiers, bases, objectives etc. - just general destruction. But I guess the gamers have evolved, nobody wants to play DM now, so I'll have to stick with Jedi Academy DM once in a year during LAN party.

On the other hand, I might give this Battle Royale mode a try, because why not - it could be fun.

Don't like the stupid cone vision idea.

So I will only spot vehicles that come to close to me and vehicles in the cone.

What!!!, so now my commander will be unable to stick his head out of the tank and look behind him.

Enemy tanks will just sneak around behind me and snipe me from range while being un-spotted.

Nice dumb idea Wargaming.

You put me off trying the event before its even started.

The mysterious Cone of Invisibility: just another way to make this game even more arcadey. Hint for game designers: in real life tank commanders can open the hatch and look outside. They can also *listen* to what is happening. No cones of visibility there.

Well, in real life you have snipers, anti-tank mines, infantry, and debris - which (for example) killed commander of tank 1-24 (T-34/85) in Prague during it's liberation. Hetzer fired on the T-34/85, shell bounced, hit a building and debris hit the commander who was overwatching the advance with open hatch.

I think WoT is arcade game with some realistic aspects, definitely not a simulator. (coughs in sidescrapping)

WoT does Battle Royale.....

There's fashionably late and then there's turning up three months after the BBQ expecting to be fed sausages, 'because you made the effort to come'.

Wargaming, I have some constructive feedback. This event seems cool, but we are getting way too many events. I suggest that you stop releasing useless XP events every weekend, because that makes real special events seem less special. Nobody cares about getting 9 premium consumables every weekend, or XP for premium tanks. I actually hope you would remove them, because as I said, when you make a special event 52 times a year, they lose their value.

I also don't see the point of having totally random events with their own currencies, levels, skills, rules, tokens, tags and whatnot. Instead, please make fewer modes, but invest more time and care in developing them, and keep them available. Many of us only have so much time to play (you even limit it with cans of gas?!); by the time we start to learn a new mode, poof! it's gone for a month or who knows how long, and you gloriously announce the next one. It's tiresome and the opposite of good, because all that effort could be spent to enhance what we like the game for. For example - make Frontline great again (a few simple changes would be enough, such as car limit and inability to attack main targets too early) and make it permanent or at least ease the grind. You don't get points for the consumables because first you made the grind artificially much harder and out of reach for most people...

Wanna trade your "use red camouflage to complete Hunt mission" bug for my game back? It's a top deal.

It's no good sprinkling glitter on a turd.  There are many issues with the base game that should be a priority to fix first rather than introducing new side modes and taking away a mode like team battles that actually worked well but got no promotion and plenty of people were unaware of it's existence or playability.

Another different mode not asked for an not needed. Jesus WG you are adding far too much content at the time when you shold be fixing the important issues of special MM, soapstone physics, terrible TX gameplay with 3 arty in nearly every game, balancing tanks that are clearly obsolete, etctec

I think, i could be and probably are wrong, all we want is chaffee races back; which should have been very easy to do. Then just stick those 10s of people who work on these daft special modes onto the important stuff and leave us be.

I'm aware others may think differently

So with the details about a "reward" tank this is another marathon / grind fest.

So no thanks.

Hopefully the platoons will only be playing against other platoons, otherwise the game mode is a dead fish.

The plan is to make platoons fight only other platoons, and all solo players to play solo. Otherwise it wouldn`t make much sense given what the mode is about.
