Tank looks sensational, and if the creator just replicate it is to be fast, agile and no bullets probably will ricochet from it often. from the design, it looks like a sniper/stand off tank, meant to pick off tanks before the big assault.
not the kind of breakthrew tank the IS 4/7 is.

the rear looks extremly exposed for a deadly hit.

For the looks of it, I would say they all sit in the turret or under it, the driver probably using one of the periscoped hatches, for the looks of it I would say the right side one, it has 3 periscopes for wide angle view.

I've been told the A-44 is a T-44 with the turret at the rear as well but I've not been able to find any pictures or details on it.

And yes, the 416 is one of the cooler tanks planned, given the slope of the armour they'll almost have to make it behave like a T-44 to avoid usurping the IS (unless they give it few hitpoints).

You are right, the whole crew sit in the turret. Read about it in russian.

Design office that has designed the prototype of-fact and a few other final version of the T-54. There is today, the last of their projects is a very interesting modification of the T-84: Yatagan and Oplot. T-54 is a T9, the 416 is actually a T8, so you can have BOTH!
