Trying to lose some fat before my holiday but it's not going very well. The harder I work out at the gym the more fat I lose but everything hurts more too. So I need to give longer breaks for things to recover. Longer breaks means I'm not losing fat. And now I'm sitting at home playing WoT and it's a nice hot day and I really want some hot apple pie with ice-cream. But If I eat it that's like the entire yesterday's gym session was for nothing. And things are hurting pretty bad. No way I can do another one today or tomorrow. But I really want some hot apple pie with ice-cream.

What should I do?

What kind of barbaric thing is that? We discovered fire back in the day for a reason! To make hot apple pie and tea!

When is hot, I preffer to drink some cold natural selfmade orange juice (because I don't belive in market juice). better than apple pie and ice cream.

No pain no gain. Well, protein intake might be a good idea, no idea really. Playing WoT won't do much good in this regard, that I do know. This isn't a power lifting forum but with luck you might get some serious answers, or not. Or qpranger might like your post. Or not.. who knows. You will need to have a balanced diet and a training regimen and stick to it, though.

It's a proven scientific fact that most sweet things are better devoured cold! :)

We are on this earth once. No dress rehearsal and no replays. You want Apple Pie and Ice-cream, eat Apple Pie and Ice-cream and enjoy every mouthful. What is the point of life if not to enjoy? Strive to be fit and healthy but don't give up what you love. Everything in moderation and you will be all good.

Pain means it's working. If you're waiting for the pain to stop, you won't gain anything.

Get back in the gym, ignore this game for a few hours!

If you cared enough, you'd do what's needed. At present.....you don't care enough.

Get a stand/sit table. That way you can play WoT and still stand or even do squats between battles.

I think you are onto something here... If I play arty I could do squats and push-ups between the shots.

Got to remember to show my doctor my battle log, so they can correctly assess my salt levels.

Can you prove that or is it just a feeling or the result of centuries of brainwashing?

I cant prove it either way, at least not in scientific terms, but as a Medium I think you are wrong.

OP, aside from squats at your desk, try walking more, gym less, eat more balanced, but still enjoy the occasional treat. Walking, cycling and swimming are better forms of exercise than gym work.
