I forgot school 50 years ago...
Anyways mine was a good school, must have been as it was approved by the government.

But it wasn't the uni that made them rich and famous...Since technical studies have very little to do with playing in a heavy metal band, you could almost argue that was more of a distraction. It is also common knowledge that technical studies are among the most effective contraceptives.

Higher Education Diploma Programme as recording/performing artist is what they study there and I would argue this have something to do with playing in a heavy metal band. I would not say it is distraction, who knows if it was the final push into the fame? Obviously they know exactly if it has been benefit or not and we rest can only guess.
