Just in case somebody cared at WG :)

1° Artillery

2° Premium ammo spam

That's between 100 and 200€ per month for our 3 accounts.

The game is still fun after so many years and we will be back to check if anything improves, there is still potential in this game but for now we spend our money elsewhere.

Cheers.

1,300 posts, so you clearly read the forums and you think you are adding something?

Good luck with your new game. Hopefully, it will not take you 7 years to realise you do not enjoy it.

WG is on the FTP model. They don't care about existing players. They already have your money. They want new players.

Artillery is fun. Unfair MM winchances are the cancer of the game. Many players are discouraged because they got very low win chances very frequently. It isn't worth of playing when you know that you lose at the start of almost every game. Not fun at all!

And also old premiums get obsolete, so player's purchases are like throwing money away.

No wonder the number of players decreases.

On on the OP's side. Gave almost 1K. Don't regret it but spending more money isn't worth it.

Also, it's perfectly fine to stop liking a game after 7 years. Specially when the quality is decreasing gradually (which is the case). The game isn't the same throughout.

As for the 1.3K posts, WG seems to be losing the core group. If those don't matter, then expect the game quality, gameplaywise, to decrease even further. That's funny as it explains the blueprints and free Tier VI research, to encourage people to powergrind new lines and feed higher tiers. If I'm right, WG nailed it. If. It's very smart.

What is the core group of WoT actually?

100 to 200 Euros a month? I spend like equal to a couple of Starbucks coffees, other purveyors of coffee are available, every month....

Arty is certainly not worse than before when you could OS a batchat full speed with a S-51.

Premium ammo spam is here because you can spam it at tiers X and still earn money with a prem account.

Not paid a cent for ages. As then I found it more enjoyable, and I've spent enough over the years to cover my part as is. As at least one of those two items on your list won't be changed soon.

Instead I've spent money on other online games. Holdfast nations at war is one game I don't regret getting to name one of late. Never laughed so hard in ages. And then WOT is still free, so why not play it too?

Then ditch XVM! ......... Why that is still in the game Heaven only knows! It gives an unfair advantage to good players, and destroys the confidence and ambition of poor ones!

Its really strange, it's almost like below average win rate players lose more games than good players.

Complete mystery. Must be rigged.

Anger, dissapointment, a sense of entitlement and maybe a hint of hope WG gives a damn - which they don't - is my guess.

I wonder tho, what is there in WoT that would make people spend 100€ per month?

Premium tanks? WG doesn't release new tanks on a monthly basis...at least not most of the time.

Gold? But what for? Apart from free-XPing modules and tanks and re-training crews, but what else?

I mean, i buy almost every premium ship in WoWS, but that cost me what? 40-ish € per month?

To be honest, i never gave a damn about premium ammo spam, as i use it myself, especially vs super heavies, rashan stronk tenks and fast tanks at medium to long ranges (better shell velocity - as i am not a good player, also i don't play WoT as often as i play WoWS, which negatively affects my aim vs fast Targets among other things).

I also don't like arty (what a surprise) but it's nowhere near as bad as CVs are in WoWS, which counter all classes without risking anything.

Too much utility and strike potential even vs AA cruisers. Arty, by comparison, is a minor annoyence as it doesn't provide constant spotting of light tanks, can't hit them reliably at will or devastate mediums ( except for two or three artys, iirc?) or keep DOT damage on heavies, all while being untouchable for the entire game. Yeah, there are exceptions where the enemy Team plays well and you'll never see an enemy arty, but those are rare.

The worst part is: WG openly admitted, they will do anything necessary to keep the CV population high, even it it means making them OP.

And with the last patch, they nerfed the AA across the board so CVs became even stronger.

While this is game breaking, it will not drive me away from the game, and i don't see a reason to stop spending money on premium ships.

tl;dr: premium ammo is necessary for the average and sometimes even good player to deal with higher tier tanks and super heavies.

And arty is not even remotely as game breaking or annoying as WG could make them.

The couple of games i played on a friends account last weekend where i got multiple times shelled by arty and almost perma stunned, made WoT so much more enjoyable then my last WoWS games with CVs, in which i performed sooo much better then compared to WoT.

From a spend point of view, I have spent £360 in twelve months on WoT. 1 years premium, gold and premium tanks. Never bought anything that wasn't discounted or had a coupon i could use with it. I have Twitch Prime but having Amazon Prime anyway through my business means I get it for free. Thats £30 per month. Since playng WoT I have not bought another game for the PC, X-Box, Wii or Playstation. Spend on those over the twelve months previous was in excess of £500 on 12 games. WoT has saved me £140 and given me hours of enjoyment.

:)

Arty I find less and less annoying the more I play. Premium ammo I have never seen the problem with. You want me to sit here in my Dicker Max and bounce shells off every tier 7 and 8 I face? Just wait for the battles when I'm top tier and then have fun but not allowed to in any other battles? Don't tell me to aim for weakspots, that is laughable with RNG in a mid to long range TD. No, sorry, don't see the issue. I'll use it all day long if I have to, even in standard tanks. Don't mind losing credits because I will make them back by the bucket-load in the Skorp and the Kanon 105. Yes I have spent money on those tanks to be able to do so.

If people never speak up nothing gets changed.

So if spamming forums is the only tool in our hands we most definitely should do that.

Look at E5, Types and Obj 268 V4 in the near history.

Spamming and complaining will get things done.
