This might sound like a surprising fact but you don't have to play it if you don't like it.

No, I didn't read all that.

Try watching some of this stream...

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/472619277

You'll get a good idea of how the mode works and the general strategy of its gameplay. This topic is also a good guide to the mode.

I'm Rank 10 after an evening of play...

Winning doesn't matter that much as top 5 (I think) is still nice chevron gains.

Trick is to run away and farm powerups for a long as possible. Occasionally you can bully someone down if you know they are all that's there and you outmatch them.

It's about upgrading as much as you can and fighting as little as you can I think.

The game I won just now I simply ran away and hid in the safe zone whilst 2nd and 3rd killed each other in the c@ncer wasteland.

That's the best way I ever heard of giving feedback to the developer and the game community about the game or aspects of it. If you don't like it then don't play it, nobody gives a shait, right?

Wait, and you think the forum is the place for that feedback?

Your opening post is not feedback, it is whine.

Honestly? I quite like it. At the start you need to be sneaky, hide, run and farm those booster areas, mid game is chasing those less fortunate and ambushing duelling enemies, endgame is making sure of the top 3. But saying that I finished 4 games in a row in 4th place yesterday yet I wasn't in the slightest bit frustrated.

Most of the WoT population never played a battle royal game, so its normal for them to struggle a bit.

Would like for the progression to be random with the loot, not pre-determined, and probably not have the smoke, so you would have to look harder for it.

It's a luck based game pretty much, the only thing it is worth it for is a fairly easy bond farm, in terms of gameplay its terrible, full of flaws, badly designed and completely lacking a skill element.

The whole game mode has basically been designed for 48% IS7 driving bobs to have good games thanks to luck.

Are you commenting on this mode specifically or WoT in general?  :hiding:

WOT in general is a bit like that, but this is just an extreme version of everything wrong with normal WOTs, no tactics, no range fighting, all brawling, heavily RNG based, a race to get to OP +2 level tanks, added randomness of spawns, rigging etc.

Some hate it, some love it going by the feedback so far. As we see with every mode. Not everything can be made to please everyone all the time sadly.

Really, how interesting, suddenly I might play this mode. What amount of bonds are we talking here vs the invested time?

Until they make it a grindfest, with tank rewards and extra credits... one week every month for a a year to win a tank

Or something that only unicuns can play

100 for every game at start, then +-75 , considering you get a chevron every game on average.

So a player needs only click battle for 100 bonds? Then go watch tv? nice one. And how long does each battle typically last? Also, is there one clearly stand out strong nation or are all tanks pretty much the same?

Well compared to past events, especially the Halloween one. Let's just be happy they did not do that this time around. As I've seen a fair few 25 emblems already.
