I have an "addiction" that if i play a tank good and it ends up somewhere on the top of my Service Record via XP, that i don't play it anymore. I just like the way it looks. There are so many tanks there that i want to play but something is making me say "No." This has been going on for years now.

5A actually hold the record for my top damage game on the 2nd game with the tank. Around 8500dmg.

Since i first played 1 game with both 5A and 260 and lost both, then i played another but played it good and they ended up there and haven't played them since. Feels bad. I'd love to play them. :P

It only take one more battle to get rid of that nasty purple. :)

Seriously though, it's counterintuitive to stop playing something you like because of numbers. How are you going to get better? How are you going to enjoy the game when you can't even touch a tank because it got good stats?

I don't want to sound harsh but toughen up!

No premium acc for about half of them. Still even with premium, doesn't change anything. Its about it "looking nice" and me not wanting to ruin it :(

I only do reasonably well in tanks that i find to look very nice and have trouble playing tanks that did not exist irl. Oh, and i love those large machineguns on turrets :hiding:. Wanna share a psychiatrist?

Ot, you are not alone in this. There are more people afraud to screw up their stats once they do very well in a certain tank. Don't have the answer other then 'it's just a game so just have some fun and screw stats'.

Those stats mean nothing, anyone can get a single good game, MoE is where it is at when proving yourself to yourself. Or at the very very least get an ace in them ;)

You're welcome :)

I have a similar problem:

Spoiler

I tend to focus on single tank until I mark it. After getting the marks I switch tanks and rarely touch the marked tank again. Usually moving crews/equipment to other tank. (Premium tanks I play like AMX 13 57 and Type 62 on that list.).

Is it worth to grind millions of credits, hundreds of thousands of XP, spend gold/credits for crew and equipment and then play couple of good games in a tank?

Try to play 50 or 100 battles in a tank and see your stats then. They might drop but having multiple tanks with 100 battles each then shows which tanks works for you and which don't.

Click on the Battles column and leave it that way rather than the Average xp column.  Your self cure is literally 1 click away, and by the way it's not an addiction you have there it's an obsession.  Gettign rid of xvm or whatever is giving you the colours will also help :)

I tend to do the same if I reach 50% in any tank it stays in the garage, every little helps when your trying to get your winrate up, then again playing with squad mates who are either high or drunk maybe does not help, especially when they still play better than me.

Maybe THAT is where I have been going wrong all this time

Nice and impressive !

Please don't change. You should even start a new account to correct all those non-100% ...

I saw an account where the guy stopped at X battles (lets sayy 250 for the exercice). It must seems a nice number to him.

So all his tanks were played a round 250 times ;)

You could do that kind of objectives.

Sorry, I don't want to help you, this is too entertaining to watch :teethhappy:

In fact, I'll share with you my personal horror of my T55A, and how having a solid 60% winrate in it for about 250 games, I decided to keep playing that awesome tank and over the next 100 or so it somehow plummeted to 50%. Don't touch those purple tanks, or you'll get cursed! Cuuuuuuursed!

Well, seems kinda silly to be and definitely wasteful of some tanks you might enjoy playing. Not sure how it works these days but before, when a player bought a new tank, they were always guaranteed to be top tier with it so, assuming also had some free xp to skip the stock module grind, a player was generally always going to have a very strong first battle as top tier against lower tier tanks and with that a strong possibility of a win, even an Ace with the very first battle.

The fact you came onto the forum with this would suggest you're not too happy about it. In reality, nobody cares, nobody cares about my stats. Unless you're into clan wars and looking to join a top clan then the stats on those tanks only matter to you, only you care about them... and I can't imagine a top clan would look a tank with 1 battle and welcome you aboard as though that proves you are God like in that tank lol.

Results are a roller coaster in this game, always has been, at least when played solo in randoms. You are 1 of 30 different inputs and it's a game heavily soaked in RNG where for 1 battle your 30 shots can all land and pen and roll high and set off fires and ammo racks while in the next battle, your 30 shots will find tracks and not pen and find the upper plate when you were clearly aiming at the lower plate and low roll so the enemy tank that should be dead survives and hits back at you for a high roll and sets you on fire and ammo racks you or kills half your crew. The game goes this way and that way, never predictable and I guess that's the attraction or else if it was predictable it would become dull and boring and we stop playing it. So if you like your 1 battle tanks kept safe and placed in a trophy cabinet, that's entirely your call and if it makes you happy, why not. For me it would be a total waste. Sure, going on to play 100 battles and end up with 30% win rate would suck but so be it, I'd rather play it than look at a stat nobody but me gives a fork about.

I had a friend that played his tanks in such a way that his service record was full of "clean" numbers of battles.
The list went on like this :
XXX tank 600 battles
XXX tank 595 battles
XXX tank 550 battles
.

.

.

.

XXX tank 5 battles.
ALL. THE. WAY. DOWN.

OCD is a terrible thing
