Steel Hunter map is complete garbage

Whoever designed the map and then took a look at it and honestly thought that they've done a good job is a complete tool.

So many long "corridors" with dead ends, Edited

What do you expect?

 

This game is made with HT players in mind, which are only confortable in that sort of maps. Why change that out of the sudden?

 

I have only played one battle so I'm not sure if there are more in the rotation but judging from your remark, there aren't - again another bad decision.

 

But typical from WG.

I felt like this map was one of the best they ever made, since you can flank enemies from evereywhere instead of having to face them in corridor every single time.

More or less like old Stalingrad but in this mode with its specific gameplay i like this map a lot.

Agreed. I believe OP's point is that the layout is somewhat confusing at times, causing a bit of issue when the map shrinks. Seen quite a few die from pathfinding failures late-game - which does make a lot of sense.
