WG actually nailed it with this mode. Everyone starts from scratch and it is game on to collect the resources you need to upgrade your machine in the way you see fit. I actually got hooked really good because I was trying out all of the module upgrade variations. The rewards are splendid and the fights have great options with the consumables which you can pick and use; I loved running away from fights I couldn't win using the turbo booster, lol.

Love to see more tanks and upgrade variations in the future, with more rewards when you finish rank 25 because there isn't much of an insentive to keep playing when you max out.

And the best of all, you only rely on your own and don't have a team with bad team members that that will drag you down with them. If any, this mode is a good trainer to help rely less on your team and more on your own gameplay.

To me, this game is the highlight of the year .

PS, played five hours straight to reach rank 25, all solo.

I think it's just fine as game mode, and a nice way to get some bonds.

Only thing I really hoped was WG had curbed down some RNG by giving tanks better gun handling and increased shell velocity.

Yep, excellent mode. Lots of variety in tank upgrades and the use of consumables adds a new dimension to game play. Like using the turbocharger to run away or using the smoke screen to create a safe path to an airdrop or an escape route. Using the trap and target tracking in 1v1 fights is also really cool.

Agree on most points. It is really far more relaxed mode with multiple ways of advancing, and barring donkeys doing rigging has little to complain about. Thing is that it doesn't feel like tryhard grinding, although I'm afraid that WG will add that aspect to this mode too.

Id love to get few more tanks and maps, and fire extinguisher from airdrop...

1. I don't like Battle royal games in general
2. Spawns suck and there is nothing the player can do about it. I spawned on locations where I had a pick up spot 5 meters from my tank while other times I had to drive 2 blocks to find my first one. Then there is the overcrowded points where you meet 2 or 3 players in the first 40 seconds because WG a dumb.
3. Wargaming forgot they used to have the Encounter or whatever mode was called for the T22 medium tank missions which was infamous for having people rig games by pressing battle button at the same time and the exact same thing is happening in this event because Wargaming never, never f*ucking learns a thing from it's past mistakes.

I see this nothing but a poor jump on the battle royal bandwagon because the genre is so popular. Not everyone's cup of tea, I'd much more prefer a game mode like the Haloween one we had.

^This, so much this^, was going through my mind when playing WoTRoyale.

But it is what it is.

I like Frontline, others don't. I like arty. Apparently, there are others, that don't.

I think it is an ok mode for a short while.

I myself are not really a fan of Battle Royale modes, and if I wanted there are better gmes out there.

It is to complicated, not really adding something to my acount, and I just suck at one vs one fights.

And the rigging is a real problem, they should have just removed all player names for this event. Doesnt kill it completly but makes rigging a bit harder.

So all in all it is ok, but nothing more for me personally. But fans of the BR genre will like it, so fine to have it for a while.

Don't feel the same. You need a lot of luck to have things drop on your way, not having people that yolo you early game. also RNG can screw you a LOT.. I've been 'outplayed' by a lot of bad players, simply because my shots bounce while having a green marker.. makes sense to have that marker...

I enjoyed it. I won't be playing it much after I maxed the rank out but it's a decent mode indeed.

I wish the American line was stronger though. It definitely is the weakest.

I spawn, no yellow marker nearby but always an idiot who tries to kill me with 8 rounds. I started to run, but idiot is pushy so i shoot back. After 8 shoots Idiot is out of ammo and he started to run, but idiot did some damage to me. Meanwhile another one came with full 8 rounds and kill us both. Game finished in 4 min. So this is a definition of fun game mode?

I stopped at rank 15, got camo and badge and this is it for me.

People who like something and people who don't like something in WoT, the way it's been since the dawn of time.

I thought I'd gather some bonds with this mode with a few battles a day...but I think I'll rather earn them in randoms instead because this was really not my cup of tea, it's like playing Yatzy.

If by game you mean rage inducing, sure. Do fine a couple of battles, then the streaks of spawning with 10 [edited]morons all ganging on you, no resources at spawn and slow [edited]loading ui. Yet Another Grind.

I really dislike it. Missing those bonds rewards is frustrating, but playing steel hunt is worse.

Have to say I'm quite enjoying it. It's a fun and relaxed mode that can pump some adrenaline a bit more often than random battles. You get credit, exp (even if I can't see where is going) and bonds with absolutely 0 risks.

Just wish you could be able to send message to other players after battle. Yesterday I had a really close battle, lost at the final showdown after bouncing the killing shot on the other survivor. Wanted to send a GG to the other guy, but couldn't... :(
