I currently have a good selection of French vehicles including 2 Premiums consisting of FCM and CDC and have reserved both the Lorraine and Progetto to pick either one.

I am leaning towards the Progetto since I currently have not gone down this line as of yet but I am planning to so would be nice to have as a crew trainer as well.

I will be using ingame gold as I save here and there via mobile payments.

Both are very good tanks, their game play is different yet both are enjoyable. I'd go with the Progetto because i like the gun more and the versatility of the autoreloader. The Italian line itself is also great especially the tier 9 and 10 tanks.

Have to say.... Both are excellent tanks,   46 is more versatile. I see less of the 40t in battles.

Forget any notions of buying a Progetto for crew training a new line you can just pop a couple of crew training books now instead so just go with whichever you fancy playing. Both are pretty solid tanks with their own tricks so normally the deciding factor when both tanks are good is which nation you have with the stronger crew so you can just play it as strong as it can be without having to play it with a bad crew lacking some very important skills especially as both these meds are weak armored so really do need a crew garnished with camo and view range skills from the get-go.

Progetto is a very good tank and is fantastic in Frontline. The whole Italian line are good to excellent. Can't speak for the Lorraine but the complete lack of any sort of armour is always a worry... no room for error.

Progetto hands down. Why? Well it's the most versatile of the two. Sure it has less base camo and speed. But lower profile and more base view range helps. That and the way his clip gun works, you have a fairly good DPM going 1 shot at the time. Or use the burst once your target is low enough. If you play FL it's a great income machine there too.

Not exactly flush with EC to blow on the 2mil books, still saving up for a few new T10's ive researched

Only if you like T10 gameplay though. If you're 50/50 then don't bother it's just a waste of credits for some pretty dull and tilted gameplay imo but that's how I feel about T10 maybe not you. :)

Well since making this post I cannot load up forums, website for eu or us on my broadband line but I can play the game but the festival calendar won't load either.

Never had a problem like this before, had to type this on mobile via data connection.

Randoms: lorr 40t.

FL: Progetto

The Progetto is a great tank in T8 games, but as soon as T9/10 tanks are added to the mix, it just doesn't quite have the burst damage to truly shine. The 40t is a threat to anything in the game, but it is also a bigger target that needs quite a bit of time to reload. I hugely enjoy playing both, but I tend to pick the Progetto mostly in FL because that is where it gets the most mileage for me. YMMV. Ultimately, I think you should get both, but if you only were to pick one, I'd suggest the lorr 40t over the Progetto because FL is limited to seasons. Randoms can be played at all times.

I love my Lorraine, more than my Progetto, but i gotta vote for the pizza tank here. It is more flexible, and since you already have a french med(even if it is the trash called CDC) there is no need for another. The italian line is solid, i'm at tier 7 so far and every tank so far is at least ok and i haven't even reached the autoreloaders yet.
