Hello folks. Obviously WG hasn't delivered the bonds shop on the announced schedule:

"The first lot in the spring of 2019, which includes more affordable units. The second one contains more exclusive tanks and goes on sale in the second half of 2019."

However, they did on other of their promises for 2019 (including the fact that they did up the bonds sources with the premium missions and events like Steel Hunter) and I'd like to hear you staging your bets on the fate of the much anticipated bonds shop.

Do you think it will happen at all? Do you think that both stages are going to happen in 2019? Are you interested in spending your hard earned bonds in it, or would you rather hoard more of them for CW auctions?

Imo the black market was a great event, offers for bonds could clearly be part of it. Also bonds could have been used for the new dog tags, but WG introduces the dumb 'tickets'. Would have been much cooler if there were some really special ones for a large amounts of bonds, an 'exclusive'.

NOW WITH BOND inflation (premium 25/day and steel hunter some 3000) prices will prob. go way up,....so I dont expect some op tank for like 7.900 bonds lol,,.so may as well postope or cancel that shop,...

I don't think OP tanks will be in necessarily in the shop, but rare/niche tanks for sure (like the Death Star was before BM). Although with bonds shop and BM, I doubt there will be any rare tanks in this game anymore :teethhappy:

Considering how easy it is to get bonds now via events etc for those that don't play tier X all day. I suspect they will jack up the prices there. If the Foch 155 is less then 40K, I will be surprised.

But I suspect it will still come. When is a different matter. But what will come there is the bigger question. Black Market was probably a good pointer.

well with various tanks that were planned for bond shop being tested on the live server, E75 TS being the main one i can think of. I expect it will be in the next patch.

I don't think ANY tank will be 40k, for the simple reason that they won't price any tank above the CW auction lowest winning bid. Those tanks are the pinnacle of OP-ness. I would wager max 20k for "best" tanks in the shop.

A bit off topic but in a month WG will release a new episode with new tank selection. Maybe 29 days, my memory isn't that good anymore. :)

I'd like to see the bonds shop as well, but WG likely knows very well that this is out of the reach for many players, and that even those it is within reach of, don't have quite enough bonds on hand, and there are perhaps not enough ways to earn it. Steel Hunters is a fairly simple way to obtain them, of course.

Also, how do you monetize the bond shop? Fair bet it's practically 'fluff' content, not anything that makes much of a difference to what I assume is the part of the playerbase that is most loyal, plays the most, and likely also spends the most (on average per player). That may make it hard to push towards the front of the pile named stuff that needs doin' - and it's probably a pretty chunky one.

They must keep the bondsystem as it is.

Get your enhanced equipment for a expensive price and done.

The bondshop will attract the wrong kind of people....

The proof of it you can already see.....where it used to be tier 8 where all the trash happend....

Due to recent xp boosting and bondshop rumors all the tier 8 trash moved to tier 10.

Well maybe Wagaming are talking in terms of say the Universe, in which thousands and thousands of years is a pretty short amount of time.

Yes but there are only 2 patches left on 2019 so a 'Soon™' was in order. :)
