So what sort of state is the MM in at tier 7 atm? Was thinking of purchasing the IS-2M for 3 Mark purposes. How often do tier 7's get matched up vs tier 9s? As the IS-2, And Normal IS, are the sorta tanks that are capable when top tier and mid tier but absolutely useless bottom tier. Assuming the IS-2M comes under the same principle as those.

My Swedish Leo has not complained one bit. As tier 7 is one of the sweet spots atm for me at least. If that works in the IS-2M is a different matter.

Leo tank is a real good one, and also as a med, you won't advance to face heavies or TDs, all you do is to support from far and snipe.

I played my p 43 ter(T7) last week, it was like 70% of my battles against tier 9s, I'm not complaining now, but my point is, as a T7 prem tank, it'll face tier 9s most of the time.

my experience is opposite to the previous two posters, I think tier 7 MM got shafted by the imporved T8 MM

Tier IX games not so much, but you do meet a lot of tier VIIIs.

My Tiger has no problems doing damage in any of those MM setups -

unless Arty or LT is top-tier, then things can get nasty.

why are SPG and LT even allowed to be top tier?**

** I love my AMXes, but still

Don't buy it, lousy gun depression and inaccuracy make it suffer on most maps.

Is2m is one of my favourite tanks in the game, the only tank I’ve managed to two mark. I just got the T29 myself and for a full day I just got tier 6 mm, it was magical. Now I’m seeing more tier 8s and a few tier 9s but with both of these tanks (T29 and IS2) I’m not too bothered by it, they can still manage very well in those tiers. Enjoy the M man, I still love taking it out once in a while and when the gun cooperates, it’s fantastic.

Yeah, he really doesn't care if he gets +2 or not as he is rather flexible. But tbh I've not seen many +2 games on tier 7 of late. Equal tiers and +1 is what I see the most. Tho I've played meds and lights there of late. So no idea how HT's are tbh.

Best game in it so far. Only 4 battles but seems like a solid tier 7 heavy

Even a forumite on the enemy team "Swedish prem med". Tho since I never did see one after it was sold the first time, as most thought it was trash. How is the armor difference? As it has less lower plate armor vs the IS, as it doesn't have the spare tracks there to name one.

Tier 9 matches aren't that much of an issue... all the tier 8 autoloaders every game are. Have fun getting clipped a lot.

Edit: and don't forget to pray that you don't have to fight obj. 705

Tier 7 is in a pretty shitty state due to all those added autoloaders and the power-creep on tier 8/9....

The armour actually holds up pretty nicely, the spaced armour on the side it has is rather nice. which the normal IS doesn't have

I get confused, between the IS tanks, wan't there a Berlin one with special marking? I either way i got shot of it as when I fully aimed, the shot went anywhere but to the target, bit like the KV 2 really, was thinking of buying it back with credits but I don't make enough.

On a better note i bought back two tier 8 Yankee TD's and am loving them.

It's a fairly mobile Russian heavy tank, with great alpha and decent DPM for tier. Armor also works.

How could it ever be bad :)

EDIT: My only gripe is it's of course very similar to IS-2 Berlin which gets the special crew... and IS-2M does not.

I think Tier7 and 9 are the sweetspots for WoT atm.  VK4503 and The Capture KT are great top tier. Love the SWE Leo, the Eagle American thing, The Chinese TD (is just freaking awesome)  T29 still is good at the tier but not played it in an age. IS-2, IS2. so many great tanks.
