Huh, never thought I'd see the day of this actually being implemented. It's been quite a few years now since I proposed something similar in some comments thread somewhere.

I thought this mechanic would have been pretty easy to implement and useful and would have also satisfied multiple national communities ages ago.

Another multinational tank should be the German/Czech T-25 Skoda ah and the T-15.

Greetings to all!
Interesting update. I have thought about "Rudy problem" several times and I really appreaciate that you try to solve it. However I don't like the possibility to change the nationality whenever you want. It's redundant! Just give that possibility once and if you are not satisfied, change it for gold. Otherwise it's gonna spread and possible could happen in these causes:

- Tetrarch
- Valentine II

- Matilda IV
- Churchill III (all four tanks are Soviet tanks now because of Lend-and-Lease from UK)

- Loza's M4-A2 (it's an iconic tank of the USA which came to USSR because of Lend-and-Lease - Loza would stay in the Soviet "version" and in the American version there will be some "Nameless hero" )

- Pz. S35

- FCM36Pak40

- Pz. B2

- leFH18B2 (all 4 tanks have their origins in France but served in German Army)

- Pz. T25 (A German tank from Czech blueprints)
- M10 RBFM (American M10 Wolverine who served in French Forces)
- Heavy Tank No. VI (German Tiger in Japanese Tech Tree)
- King Tiger C (German Tiger II captured by the USA)

And can you imagine that leFH18B2 would recieve one more advantage ( = possibility train both French and German crew)? The tier V would be nealy unplayable!

Really nice idea. There are plenty of other examples waiting for this step: The lend-lease Churchill III / Valentine II / M3 Light / Loza's M4A2... but not Matilda IV, it's a pure Soviet mod. And I'd like to see the P:Victoria/Strv. 81 as a Centurion Mk.3. The T-55A could even be a 4-nation tank, because Poland and the CSSR also used it. Yeah, I really hope this "Multinational vehicles" thing goes beyond the Rudy.

I have Rudy with Tier10 soviet crew on live server so I got same on CT.

When I switched it to Polish I got Polish crew with BIA already trained.

It is 1st skill, not zero skill as 250XP crew book only train 2nd skill to 88%. If it would be zero skill BIA than book would train second skill full and third to 50%.

Questions:

- is it meant to get BIA crew or it is just for CT? Rudy does normally come with BIA crew so is it because of that we recieve Polish BIA crew also?

- is BIA crew meant to be 1st skill or it is bug and should be Zero skill? I don't remember how it is on live as I got Rudy loooong ago

I tried the nationalitty switch and looks interesting.

However, after choosing different camo for the Rudy, the test client is stuck with "Updating the Garage..." screen and I cannot do anything in the client. So I cannot test/play in the test client.

Nice idea, and I hope Hungarian tanks will have the same feature in the future.

Toldi III and Turán III Prototípus categorized as German is totally unhistorical. I'd love to see a Hungarian crew, paintjob and army insignia at least for these vehicles.

Maybe WG could create a Hungarian tech tree as well. If they could create a fake Polish heavy line based on very thin/non existing evidence, for a nation that had fewer projects and designs for armored vehicles than Hungary, maybe WG could do some creative freedom like with the Polish, so a Hungarian tree could become reality. I know some WoT fan historians are looking up god knows how many archives to find high tier Hungarian vehicles. They did find vehicles, but unfortunately the best ones are improved Russian designs and the rest are weird and can't really fit after the "medium" line (imagine an E25 like TD with a 105mm/120mm gun).

Best change since very long time! I also do appreciate that after changing the nationality I get Polish crew wit the same names (it was very important to me). There's one minor thing that I'd like to improve, I mean that new crew still had skills of the old one (I can give up Russian crew if I could get Polish one with already trained skills), but - as mentioned - that would be ideal to me and I'm still satisfied with current possibility.

There's one huge problem though - as @Maauru already mentioned, "0th" perk BIA becomes 1st perk for the Polish crew. Will it be patched?

Answering your second question - when I bought it BIA was "Zero" perk.

If after this update we buy the Rudy for the first time, will it be sold as a Russian Rudy and do we get the Russian BiA crew, both Russian and Polish, or can we choose?

I cannot test the vehicle out, neither the Polish or the USSR version. I'm just sitting in the queue forever, and after 5 minutes I'm getting this message:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!...6H8tF6?e=qWk6Lg

So how am I supposed to 'test' the vehicles?
