A matter of personal taste of course but most all of these "camo" look terrible and we already got the 2018 Gamescon for free like a week ago which in any case is an old 2018 camo which actually says 2018 on it. Now, maybe it's just me but anything that modern that's a year or few years out of date just ain't cool. If it was a camo with a year to commemorate a historical WW2 date, I can be fine with this and it technically never gets out of date but something modern and non-historical, non-war etc, like Gamescon, and 2018, 2017 etc etc, nah, that's just more like "get a style" sad and "that's so last year". The astra space style camo looks interesting but I'm not sure if I like it or if it makes me puke a little... not sure lol.

Nothing new.

Prices inflated by useless x5 missions (everybody is "swimming" in XP thanks to premium x3 and weekend missions).

 

No, thank you. Most online games get new skins and customization every week. Meanwhile, in WoT, we get new bundles, offers and more x5 missions that we don't need. Maybe replace a few guys from marketing department with artists and designers?

Can anyone explain how these camos work:

 

Do they work on all maps (winter, summer, desert)?

 

Do they give camo bonuses?

 

Are they permanent (not used up after one match)?

Wasnt there a recent gamescom 2019 mission and the reward was not the 2019 but the 2018 style ?

Depend on the type of the camo-pack, there are several different types.

Yes, all of them.

They are permanent..

Mate, sorry ... but ... you play this game since 2011 and you have almost 32 k battles ... and you ask how the/these camo-packs work?

Yes. I don't know if there is a 2019 style or not, at least it has not been possible to get it by playing the game.
I will not buy this package, BUT I think it is really good that it is for sale. Cosmetics is exactly what should be available for real money

If it's a style then it paints the whole tank for every map, you can't mix them with other camo and you can't apply any other customisation.

 

If it's a set of camos then you will get however many it says (generally 9) camos.  Each one will paint one part of your tank (hull, turret, gun) for one map, you can mix them with other camo and apply decals etc.

 

They are all permanent and they all give the same camo bonus (provided you paint the hull of your tank if you are using a camo).

Already got most of these and will at some point buy the Steel Hunter and the WG Fest 2019.

Most of these are a Style which means they paint the entire tank and Summer Winter Desert they look exactly the same some come as a pack of camo paints and work more like standard camo.

Also some blend in fairly well and look ok as camo others are completely out there much like the Christmas camo sets they gave away.

Not a problem since anyone who hates them doesnt have to see them.

Looking forward to Girls Und Panzer Hello Kitty and sparkly pink Unicorn camo finishes mostly because of the entertaining forum posts.

I like that only one of the camos/styles shown on the image header is actually part of the pack:

 

Looks like Italian Marathon (not included), two Football camos (not included), Gamescom (included), 23feb (not included) and WGFest 2017 (not included).

I love the fact that you can use the green Wu Xing on summer maps, the brown on desert and blue grey on winter maps, as they are all quite realistic.....so why wreck it by marking them as non-historical? WGs graphics dept could make a lot more money from customisation, but repeatedly seem to miss what many of us have repeatedly asked for. In this case, some good looking sets of seasonal camo that we can apply to any nation, and everyone can see our pretty tank. 

 

Meanwhile i don’t see much point buying more wu xing camos if many players can’t see them.  (To be clear, I do like the hide option for football camos etc. - that’s a different matter )
