MM greatly improved after the latest update

I've gotto say  WG has fixxed the mm very nice after the patch several months ago. Teams seems more balanced across same tier and different tiers. Its allso nice to have some arty free games, and lights seems to be well distributed. Only thing to complain about is that sometimes bc25 seems to be counted as a heavy in the mm agianst fv4201'/t95 and obj 279(e) but that just small thing in a sea of dolphines.

This is undoubtedly true and all credit to WG for fixing the previous, utterly stupid MM.  Only a pity that it took them over two years to do so.

eh? this past 7-10 days its been awful, certainly needs a lot more tweaking before it will be anything like `fixed`.

Regarding this, the MM will do it's best to balance platoons against each others so in that case some tanks are matched against other class tanks because of the platoons. Also AFAIK under circumstances where there aren't suitable tanks in the queue the MM is able to match different classes against each others but only to the extent of +/-1, so one team for example can't have 2 more HTs than the other team. I don't think I've ever seen LTs being mismatched though, it should still be possible since one team can even get one more arty than the other team, as I've seen that more than once.

Another 2 years to skill based MM I suppose

Careful what you wish for, you'll be enjoying some very long queue times if they do.

I think it's now worse than ever, with most games still being +2 MM.

 

Only tier seemingly better is tier 8, probably because WG feared people stop buying premium tanks eventually.

MM has good days and bad days. Had three bad days in a row, especially at Tier 8 surprisingly. Average over 70% bottom tier at tier 8. During the same period I had 36% bottom tier at tier 6 and 30% top tier!!

 

It's swings and roundabouts with the MM in my experience but it is undoubtedly way better than it was.

It's very good..

 

The bad ones are with 3 Arty, 4 scouts..


I don't mind +2 if there are like 3-4 +2 max.

Better?? i find it the opposite.

Steam rolls are more frequint than ever.

and they no fun for both sides....(although prefering the winning team)

Wot got a lot of problems.

-To much xp boosting

-3 arty's every side.

-lots of bad players and one of the dumbest player bases

Did you try playing tiger p? Nothing but tier9 games. 

After frontline every battle 6 arties in the game which is annoying for both teams. Playing tier 5 and facing 3 arties(one top tier) really kills the joy of the game. What is all about this shocking thing? So stpt! Anyone who is going to die may feel that shock.

I have prem. For the last 300 battles my winrate has dropped from 51 to 47 %. For the last 3 days I had winrate less than 20%.

Sounds quite boring.

 

Bring back the beta mm where you could have a tier 8 at the top of your team and the enemy have a tier 9.  Get some proper battles going.
