What are your opinions about this tank? Is it worth buying?

Also was this created for science fiction movies or for actual combat? It looks as if it could only be operated by dematerialised beings operating its controls through a time warp or through a wormhole or in some such fashion.

Best passive scout otherwise it really lack of mobility against other lights.

You have a wrong feeling about tank sizes in this game. So, why do you care if it actually met combat ?

I prefer the 13-57 for fun really, only use the Even 90 when FL is annoying me :)

This tank actually existed too, it wasn't much bigger than a Citroen 2CV :)

The tank as it is in game: small, very good camouflage, excellent passive spotter and decent active spotter. The gun allows only for finishing moves, or a sudden hit on an unsuspecting enemy but leaves you lost against other LTs, hence it`s recommended for spotting.

As for the science fiction part: nope, it`s an actual thing, several prototypes have been built when the French Army was hoping to get a light tank that could be quickly deployed thanks to an airlift. ELC EVEN as seen in game is based on one of the prototypes. The only part that is a science fiction indeed is the fact that the real tank was supposed to be operated by a two men crew and not three as in the game.

Here, there`s even a picture on Wiki showing the prototype :)

The tank is a nice passive scout. Bit sluggish in acceleration, but is really stealthy. I'm not good at LTs and have just a few games in it, but I like the tank.

About dimensions, the tank is real, there is also one in a museum. The only difference is that WG stored a gunner in there while it only had a commander and a driver IRL. That was made to make it a crew trainer for french LTs, but looks quite hilarious when you look at the module distribution as basically WG took the commander hitbox and halved it to create the gunner! :D

Got ninjaed in the 3 man crew story!

You need to get used to avoiding any obstacle while driving. This thing is so light, it gets stopped even by wooden fences.

I don't even mind the 1000 (or something like that) dpm. I don't even mind the horrible gun handling. The awful mobility is really annoying once you are spotted and have to run or against something like lt-432, which apparently is also a tier 8 vehicle.

Someone was so kind to gift this vehicle. Would I buy it? Maybe.

Gun handling just really puts me off playing it, it certainly can be effective but lights are team reliant as it is and then you have this thing where you want to do damage but have a pathetic clip as it is and then miss/bounce 2/3 and end up with like 400 DPM.

It's gun basically has Foch 155 syndrome.

13-57 is IMO a much stronger, much more fun and much less frustrating tank to play.

As is the EBR-75 as well.

Both way better options IMO as French light tanks/crew trainers.

If you like sitting in bushes though, like pushing the limits of camo to see what you can get away with and like being an annoying little thing to hit, then it might be fun for you

That's more down to style and what you want to use it for. If hit and runs and passive spotting is your thing. Then yes. DPM is on the low end at 1100, but burst damage when helping others makes up for it. But make sure you're close when firing. It's not a tank for firing on the move at anything longer then 75m away unless it's a massive target. As the gun handling is rather bad.

It's sneaky, so with a good crew you can let the enemy get rather close before you are spotted, even in the open. As with a full camo crew and camo net, it's 41% when moving, and 51% when spotting. It's fast, but not agile if you will. So on soft terrain like swamps, it will bleed speed like crazy. And running over fences etc will slow it down too.

As for income and crew training. It's cheap to run, and thus end profit is not too bad. Even more so on pure assist rounds with no ammo used. And it can be fun too, even on city maps if you are allowed to bully.  But if crew training is your plan with it. Then the EBR is a way better option.

Well, it's not that big. But scale is not reflected that well in this game. But next to a car, the hull is not that small. And it's a bit bigger than a UE 57 hull. That more or less had just enough room for your average joe when the top got closed. So if you want to talk about cramped. That's the tank you don't want to be in vs this.

Spoiler

Crew, one dwarf...

As far as I can tell it's also been pretty ineffective in games,

Just 60 seconds of whizz and then die.

Having the ability to spot above all things doesn't feel all that useful...

As there will come a time when you need to damage things.

Now I recall renting this tank I think and I was not impressed then.

I do have a 13 57 and a tech tree T7DA. Both eat this thing for breakfast and can even ram it in case the clip isn't large enough. But I assume that if you're spotted by an LT on one of these then you have already messed up.

Despite the tank doing statistically well in terms of win ratio it's one of the least competitive light tanks in the game.

It basically can not do proper damage or defend itself due to a combination of truly criminally low DPM, atrocious gun handling and low penetration.

Couple that with the fact it's so light that even a wooden fence will stop it in it's tracks *AND* it accelerates like a medium/heavy.

It's fun for hiding, it's occasionally fun to drive around but if you are looking for a competitive light tank in which you can actually carry a match, don't buy it. It's absolute garbage for that.

WoT is won by killing all enemies and good camo will not damage enemies, at some point you will need to engage and you pretty much can't.

I had it as a rental and did so well that I bought it in the Festive period- and I am NOT a Premium tank collector. I've not played it a fantastic amount but I've still got a positive WR at 57 battles.

I took it out the other day for the Play Your Class Right and although I didn't win, I had 2.7K damage in one battle. The only thing I'd SERIOUSLY like to see is an improved reload time, even with other things that may be considered poor.

The tank is bad, and it's bad only because it cannot defend it self, if someone decides to yolo you're dead, also with the shell velocity don't expect to hit a wheelie rushing you full speed, just bend over, grab your ankles and kiss your a** goodbye. Camo is the only strong point it gets, combined with it's forward speed you can occupy more aggressive spotting positions, but this is pretty much it. Bad gun, bad pen, bad shell velocity, bad DPM, bad mobility, it bleeds speed when turning, it cannot cross soft terrain but it's a small target and has an over 40% camo value.

Lol at the Dwarf thing, but yes this is exactly my gameplay in it, whizz bang, it is I who goers bang, don't think I can remember ever tooning as a LT team in this thing, would be nice if passive spotting was still a thing.

Avoid like the plague if you are not extremely good at light tanks.

Be aware that it is extremely frustrating to play on many occasions.

Accellerates slower than Progetto.

Any wheelie will kill you one on one, as well as most other lights will.

Love mine, despite all this. I am apparently a masochist.
