An autoreload mechanism in which the first shell loads fastest is not very smart from gameplay perspective.

Edited.but you can get them for FREE. I am 4000 coal short for Smolensk as a free to play player.

Less pay to win aspects there, same player base tho.

A yes, years ago we were already joking about the IS-3/IS-7 getting and autoloader and how utterly broken that would be.

Guess WG was paying attention.

 

Got this one from the Christmas loot boxes, played a few matches and saw how utterly broken (and bad for the game) this one is. Haven't touched it since.

Dunno whats the hype about this tank. It has such a horrible potato gun. Even if u had 10 shots in the magazine you would still miss 9,5 of em. And the armor is not any better then the is-3 . Oh and it is slower as the Is-3. So if you have RNG on your side the the MM throws you 50% of the time in tier 6/7 matches then yea ur gonna be OP other then that not worth all the hype.

I am getting it because I have a love affair with autoloaders and well why not.

Its definitely not an op tank but its interesting enough for me to play around with.

So you have a 3 shot burst and then afterwards a slightly higher rate of fire than the IS3, well on paper not sure whether the IS3 can equal or beat it with a good crew.

 

Compared to the IS3 Standard ammo Pen is worse Premium ammo is worse though standard shell speed is better 1400 is pretty good.

Gun handling terrible and armour isn't quite as good as the IS3 its also appears to be a lot more sluggish.

Its a tier 8 Russian heavy and will perform much as they usually do.

So what, play it like a heavy, not like medium and it will be accurate enough, it is OP tank. Gun handling terrible? IS-3 aiming time 3.26 s, IS-3A 2.88s, give me a break (ok dispersion, but on close range it is less important). And it standard round APCR, 1400m/s shell velocity!  Just play it like heavy, not like coward.

Try fully aiming your shots, that might help. 

 

It's slightly worse then the IS-3, the best all-round T8 heavy......ain't doing the point any favor

yes buy them and fail in them, pls have to bring out somua sm  

i have the is3a from lootboxes as well, but the thing is, i got it way cheaper than its currently sold for - got is3a and defender twice + 1 e25 and scorp g. from ~100 boxes + a ton of all the lowtier prems.

Is-3 the best? Aren't you forgetting something, possibly a certain premium tank? And imo is-3a is better than is-3.

 

Well anyway. While I do think the is-3a is really good I don't find it op like some other premium tanks. Is the autoloader in it stupid - sure it is, but you can still kill it quite easily unlike some other premium tanks. Having just said that, I do think it is not a good idea to sell this tank - premium tanks are not supposed to be better than normal tanks and this just simply is.

They tend to resell tanks at the original cost it was released at, that is also why the T-44-100 is so expensive.

 

They break the rule by making inflated bundles though.
