A couple of half decent tonks at last!

The Lansen is more fun but needs cautious play, better for frontline

IS3A is a slug with a scary gun

i would understand if you had to decide between Lansen and Rev. there shouldn't be any doubt  which one to get, although bare in mind that is3a has absolutely terrible gun handling and accuracy, even with all the crew skills in the world/ food/vents/vstab/egld and vstab directive it still cant hit a broad side of a barn.

IS-3A I won in a loot box at Xmas. It's a great brawler up close but absolutely pants at anything further away than about 75 metres. It's gun is seriously that bad from an accuracy point of view. It'll hold a corner in a city all day long though. I am not very good in mine but can certainly see the potential for a later time when my gameplay has improved enough. It is great fun on the right map.

Only thing I can say about the Lanson is that it looks like a good tank in the right hands.

Stick HE into your IS3A with vents verts and BIA to sort accuracy

bad-a-boom

I'd actually be tempted by the Lansen if it was actually on discount and not bundled.

Don't buy a tank named 'Lansen', buy the IS-3A - that tank has a manly name.

If you like meds you'll like the lansen

The armour is unreliable, the rest of it is fine

A bit pricey in a bundle though, it's not much more than 22 without the xtras

I'm currently playing the PTA exclusively, The lack of armour is making me actually slow down.... not only has my gameplay improved. my WR is climbing...

Its just a shame I didnt take heed after 6k games :)

Yes, well maybe the goal is killing your enemies with laughter.

Why in heaven's name would you put HE in a tank like that?

It's a killing machine with AP in the right hands. Train those hands. :izmena:

Don't turn something the enemy are scared of into something they can laugh at!! :D

The IS3-A is a lot like the Chrysler K.

There was a huge fuss when it came out but now you hardly see them and people who have them rarely play them.

It's nowhere near as good all the hype.

I picked mine up in a loot box and I'm very glad I didn't pay £35 for it.

It's not as good as the Defender (which I also got in a lot box).

Lansen is brilliant, probably my favorite tier 8 along with the progretto :D

Now that's the question I'm trying to figure out (sorry OP). The fun of playing the Rev for me is hitting like a truck with ridiculous shell velocity. Less of that but more mobility and not having the size...well...of a truck.

Worth it getting the Lansen if already got the Rev and not particularly interested in the Swedish tech tree meds?

Nah, not unless you have way too much gold laying around.

I was one of the original buyers of the IS3-A... which at the time was a better alternative to the Is-6,and I think it still is,except for crew training.

With the buffs it got better, although I feel that everything pens it now. Before it was a monster hull-down and side scrapping , because of the lack of cupolas, but now you don't last long with it if you use him has a brawler or to defend a position.

Has a premium, its bad for crew training and it does not make much credits, so there are better alternatives.

For fun, well IMHO, its not a very fun tank,to sluggish to be a real autoloader, and its very hard to make the armor work.

Wait for the Defender, its much cheaper and a better tank.
