it s a good all around light. very good view range , more versatile than the other lights which are more specialized in their area.

i hunt down EBR105 with it and with the t100lt, my rhm snipe down the EBR with its better HE. i outspot the EBR with any of my lights.

EBR105 is good on open maps with no rocks, narrow roads, no buildings, no cities, no sand, will lose control on prety much anything and cant pivot

dont get me wrong, the EBR is good but not versatile, in FFA,  u r better off with a sheridan or a T100LT.

The answer is no, mount the 152mm gun.

With the standard gun, there are many light tanks that do a better job then you so it's a waste.

The 152mm makes you an actual damage dealer to heavy armor (a far more rewarding business) and you can also spot on top of that.

But then again, if you are going that route you might as well stick to the T49.

In all honesty i think if you use the small gun you are in effect turning it into a medium tank ..as you will play it as such..

If you have the 152 you then become a CQ danger to enemy lights in the game of 'Area denial'...as the 152 amongst other things is great at clearing areas of other light tanks and in the bigger picture is better for gaining map control....and this is important in my eyes in the game of 'Spotting'.

I can only advise the way to play it as i have over 500 games in the T49 with the 152 and altho it took a few hundred battles after a while i managed to be consistent in it..

..My best spotting and damage games were in the T49 and my thoughts were to carry that playstyle over to the Sheridan.

I might be wrong but my thoughts are if you use the small gun it will not be played as a light.

I played lot of battles with that 152mm derp - that gun makes your tank useless when u solo random BUT platooned - its ok.

105mm gun, awesome reload time, 482m viewrange with optics - all u need. Plays like LT-MT. Same Patton gameplay, only without armor. 2.5-2.9k DPM with laser shells.

Turn off small or hallway maps and enjoy
