When you break the wheels of those things you don't get assisted damage. Why? Can someone from WG respond to this question?
How much more broken can they be?

Maybe it works like this OP,
To get assists on tanks, you have to break the tracks in half - so there are 2 ends, so to get the assist on our wheelie cousins you would have to snap the rim in 2, including the tire.
Well that's my suggestion

I doubt it takes much dev magic to even give 15 or 25% pr wheel as assist. Snapped rim or not. But if they feel it's worth the time to fix it or not vs other "issues" is a different discussion.
When i see a WV on the other team i usually load an HE shell, so i know i will probably do 57dmg because of the wheels magical armor but once he is slowed down i give my team the chance to do more dmg as with any other tracked vehicle.
Not getting assisted on this only shows how poorly those vehicles are programmed and implemented in the game.
