ok, Not all modes are people's cups of tea. but.. there are a lot of rewards out there if you have the TIME to play them all.  the dogtag ones for example to maximise you have to play a variety of modes.  I am greedy, i'm free to play mostly so I want to grab all I can.  BUT I can't.  I get why you need to reward all the modes but its annoying when you pick one mode over another and have to miss out on prizes but I guess I want my cake and eat it too.   hmm the more I write the less sympathy I have for myself...   Maybe a bit more introspection before I go post on here...

Was an issue in WoWS before I stopped too, WG love throwing us loads of events and missions to encourage the OCD in us to grind.

I'm resigned to not finishing the dog tag collection as I refuse to grind Steel Hunters or play the WV lel fest that is FL.

Relax, just play as much as you enjoy. Grinding is a trap, you don't NEED to do it.

When I can't, I don't care.

It is annoying if there is a chance, but I couldn't.

I don't know why people want EVERYTHING.

You need to make choices.

Agree, this year its been mental, pushing us all the time with reward tanks you feel like you have to get.

Frontline reward tank, Ranked battles reward tank, free premium tank marathons, improved equipment in the PvE, Bonds in Steel Hunter, will probably be something for the tank races as well.

You just can;t keep up, I have just accepted that with my time available I had to not get some stuff, so I gave up on Frontlines, gave up on the PvE, no AE phase 1 for me, might be able to get the ranked reward tank.

Also if you are clan players its even worse as there are CW campaigns in amongst all that as well.

I agree with OP, too many events and specials and different game modes.

So I ignore them all and just play 5-10 randoms a day

Not played Frontline since Round 1 (when I decided it was just as tedious as last year)
Haven't done any grinding of TOTT tanks for months
Ignored the 'Festival' completely, I never looked at Steelhunter, never looked at what the 'dog tags' are all about, certainly wont be taking part in any tank racing mode
I see tickets being won on my post battle results screen, but I have no idea what these are for
And I don't care, I am happy doing what I am doing

Agreed, this year has been rediculess wih events, marathons, clanwars, ranked, frontline. We hardly ever get a chance to just play the game. And some of these events interfere with random gameplay also so not doing them is even affecting my games.

And with the specials/events every week it has become clear that Wargaming hasnt have enough time to properly test them before releasing them so we get buggy events that have to fixed with patches soon after they are released.

I rather have way less events to keep the special and properly tested so nothing can go wrong.

There's just so much stuff going on I don't even pay attention any more.  All I want to do is go vroom vroom boom and maybe boom again if I'm lucky.

The only exception will be the race mode if they haven't ruined it.

I feel you SM.

That's what I hate too with the new premium account, those x5 you miss when you don't play.

Or when you kick in the reserves and realise at the first battle that you will suck all the evening.

I see what you mean, and agree. My view is that the alternate modes aren't fun, either.

I'm sure many enjoy FL and SH, but can't help that it felt like a chore to play. Fun for a bit, but failed to rekindle my interest in playing WoT 'actively' again. Even the premium tank marathons made me play more, as did certain other past 'special' events. Fingers crossed for tank racing being a solid, challenging mode and not just the usual grindfest.

I got my ticket for the festival fair daily today, finished Frontline, and then broke the Arcade Game, so now I CAN'T waste time trying to play it. Easy :)

I feel like WG is pushing me away from WoT with all these events. Feels like they don't even check if the events overlap. Now we have FL week and suddenly I have to play some arcade minigames in order to get the dogtags.

I would rather have a solid main game (randoms etc) and occasional well done events here and there like April fool's, Halloween and Xmas. Now we get these rushed and unfinished events popping up every week.

I rarely play randoms anymore. With all these events and clan activities I just don't have time.

WG has realized that other games have activities and events which keep players playing but, as usual, WG has overdone it.

I logged into the game for the 1st time in nearly a year today.  Had no idea what was going on or what it all meant.  Logged back out without playing a single game.

I agree. joined an active clan yesterday and did skirmishes for the first time. By the time I had done my daily dose of FL and then played some randoms to keep my "hand In", 5 hours had passed and it was way past my bedtime!!

It's going to become a choice between clan interactions and other modes. Didn't start SH because I knew there would not be time, arcade thingy broke after one game and dogtags/festival has just been coincidental to what I was doing anyway. Factor in the Twitch Prime missions....

Just going to prioritise what I enjoy so this week is Clan stuff and FL. Back to randoms next week.

There is definitely too much going on at the same time.
