Lately, I had the feeling that some of the players (increasing) are using aimbots. It's that I'm getting older or do you have same feeling? Is WG do something about it? Any WG program to identify this kind of not fair players?

You should post a few replays.

32k games, yet to see anyone with an Aimbot...

Are you sure it wasnt a Russian tank "SNAP" shooting at you ?

Are you playing frontlines?

I think cheating rigging and other bad stuff level is usually tied with marathons and reward modes... business has usual, but actually and when compared with other games the level is very good.

Next time you feel this way, just fire up CS:GO, Fortnite, Call of Duty... you will then get back to WoT and not even notice them.

WG can’t do anything about you getting old. Don’t have a magical anti age cream. Atleast not for us common folk ):

And what makes you think more use it now vs before? Sure WG have their methods on their end to find players like that. And they have a ban wave about every 3 months. But on your end. Getting hit is not really proof enough as such.

Keep in mind that aimbots can only aim for you. They can't alter dispersion, bloom, hit chance on the same pixel or module damage etc.

I don't think that WG could do much about your feelings.

I had the impression in some battles that I was hit very easy and quick by a moving tank and just spot... Also, some hits are quite improbable: e.g just come up from a valley, without to be spotted rich the top with a fast vehicle and hit... .is this normal? Who can do that? I will do some replays in case that I will have suspicions.

Anyhow, was a generic question if you had the same experience...

Pretty much the same, in all my games I reckon I have suspected an aimbot maybe 2-3 times but even then it was only a suspicion and I don't think I have ever even been like 70% sure someone is using one let alone 100% sure.

Never even been 100% sure, yet alone 70%. Last time it was mostly because how the gun jumped around, not because he hit me all the time.

occasionally I have suspected people of using ones that target the ammo rack or fuel tanks.   Being hit two shots in succession in the rack isn't common because of all the random elements in the game so when one tanks takes out 3 by racking them I get suspicious..

Presumable wargaming are able to watch a replay from any players perspective.

If they can then add that as a feature for all players.

That should solve any thoughts about aimbots as you can closely observe the actions of a player you suspect for the entire battle.

I suspect that all players are getting older, but that's just a feeling I have.

A replay is made of info you get from the server at the time. And you don't get enemy info when they are not spotted for that to work. Console has it, but only for friendlies, and you don't see how the sight move as it's static. As in not jumping around regardless.

But even then, I suspect it would help little. As most still think hitting them twice in a row on the same pixel is 100% imposible. So then you cheat. Even if they could see the sight .

I've NEVER fealt that anyone I've met in this game has used aimbot. Absolutely never. Not saying it doesnt happen, know for certain atleast one of the forum users has used it as they posted themself using it. It just doesnt have big effect as the game has bloomvalues and rng that aimbot has no effect on.

I'm sure you've seen more than one but I don't think you can really tell without their replay.

I doubt that, take too much processing and storage.

You are getting older and I bet that everyone else on this planet is also getting older and we all have the same feeling.

WG can't really do anything about it, except sell as many premiums as you can buy before you aren't able to pay.

WG program to identify this? No, I don't think so. But mirror works too.

Unfortunately, we do not live in Star Wars and you cannot trust our feelings.  Your senses and feelings are tricked every day.  The game shows you a sequence of still images and your brain tricks you into thinking you can see movement, as an example.

Have I though?  Oh i get suspicious when I get hit in the ammo rack then repair only to be hit again. but then I think of all the stupid BS mods WG allows that show all the hit spots on tanks. but everytime I've checked after the match when this happens its a >56% player so I think they just "know" the target.   the <45% players cant even read to install the mods.

But Aimbots? naa cant say I've been seen any.
