Idea for limiting gold spam. Gold rounds are a magazine of 3-5 rounds, and as long as you have gold rounds loaded, the magazine will not be refilled. every gold round should be loaded into the magazine with the same speed as normal reload time, once you switch to another type of ammo. If you only have gold rounds your reload time doubles.

No.

1. High alpha tanks would get an edge over low alpha tanks. Like Imagine a fight between any T8/T9 Heavy Tank against a Hulldown Jg e100 spamming heat, would be funny.

2. Double reload time would just punish every tank that needs gold ammo to ever compete, so no one/less would want to play them anymore -> More meta spamm in randoms.

So what about if you have gold loaded, because you expected an E100, but found a Borsig instead? Should the reload time be less then normal to balance it? Like the WOWS perk.

Either way. It's a "balance" idea that will ruin it for you, as much as it will "help" you. As I can see late games when you only have gold left with a longer reload help. Or having half your support play like they are ammo racked. As they can't pen anything with AP to help you.

So I cant fight overly armoured tanks properly? Great fun! Prem ammo is needed as long as there is tanks that have too good of a narmour and no proper weakspots.
