Wg doing an another briliant move and adding fuel restriction so you can play only 5 races before you need to wait 30 min. Who thought that was a good idea?

it's to keep you logging in, or staying in the game

As i understand from the video there is no fuel restriction. You just have to play 5 races each time and then wait a little. The timer in the video shows 30 minutes between each 5 races.

why even put a restriction is my question, its gonna be so annoying to wait 30 min just to play a few games with your friends especially if you have limited time to play. Those 30 add up quickly so in a day you could be waiting for a loong time.

Any game that says: 'you gotta wait' can go and enjoy itself while you go and do something else with your time. :)

Short answer: to distribute the grind evenly over the event's duration.

It's a reasonable limit in my opinion between 4 battles per day in Home Front and finish the grind in 5-6 hours in Steel Hunt. It's understandable that it won't suit all players so show some MERCY please. ;)

Ok so 5 races then do something else and that's ok with me because I have other things I want to do both in and outside of the game.

Maybe some would  go and play 10 20 30 races one after the other and good luck to them, I think I would get very bored.

An elaborate way to say "wasting your time".

It's probably the safest way to keep servers from overflowing.

Stop criticizing. The event not even started

Hey players, we got this new cool "fun" mode. However you can't play it as much as you want. :sceptic:

WG doing their thing again,

but the article says "After the start of the event, five races will be available. After the fifth race a 40-minute cooldown occurs, so you can catch your breath and re-fuel your vehicles. After the cooldown ends, five new races will be added. This cycle may be repeated indefinitely—there are no restrictions on the number of races per day." ;)

Then the article is correct and it's 40 minutes break. :)

Use those 30-40 minutes to exercise. Sitting too long in front of the PC can kill you (happened to many Asian obsessive-compulsive gamers).

I am a bit concerned about the different stages, as I will not be able to partake in the first one until 25th. It is not clear to me, what these stages are about, and what it means to miss out on one... Any idea???

Just switch to an alt account ? Or watch the next episode of your favorite manga ?

Besides you don't know if you will like it that much. Maybe the limit is to prevent players saturation.

The rewards are so crappy I won't even bother trying it.

On another note, this is the 3rd failed event IMO in a row: Homefront, SteelHunter and now WackyRaces. Really, the only different mode that actually was a succes is Frontline. I wonder how WoT would look like if people at WG would focus on balancing the game: maps, tanks, ammo...  instead of creating this type of failed events...
