Anyone else got this issue?

Can barely make a course adjustment without the damn gocart sliding all over the place.

Metal tracks on asphalt with momentum.

It's deliberate, as it was 5 years ago. It helps in the corners, and you can turn on a dime in the cap. Just give it a few races and you get the feel for it in terms of how much adjustment is needed on the straight etc.

I'd rather do something enjoyable, like grinding the Black Prince.

lol... Well, let me give you two tips. A: Have this in the background for inspiration

And B: Select the T-50 and tap and A and D fast a few times vs holding them down when you get to a turn. As that's all you need to make adjustments. Hold it down constantly and will just start a narrow doughnut.

 

I'm gonna keep at it, as I'm not gonna say no to a few zero skill commanders if I can get them regardless. As I'm 7/20 on one already.

Yea, turning is quite challenging, press A or D a little more than needed, and you lost control. You mostly need to turn by pressing and releasing the key, instead of keeping it down.

It's really ridiculous....

The driving is really uncontrollable, and auto aim?! It fires behind the target, all my shoots miss the target, but vice versa, i lose 20-30% of my HP...

I've only played the Leo, which I believe is stated to have the worst handling, and I don't feel like there's an issue with the driving.

Blyat Prince is okay tank, turret is strong and it has 250 mm of turret armor - enough for many tier 8, some tier 9 and all tier 7s.
Churchill VI is painful, though.

Absolutely non-relevant question but I wouldn't open a new topic for it: did they fix the defeat bug? I won 2 races this morning so I didn't notice.

If mechanics hinder gameplay, they should be changed, this is a game after all not a simulation.

I wouldn't say that this mechanic hinder gameplay. Sliding is quite nice when driving the Leopard as it allows to take close turns that the usual turning won't allow to.
