A few comments on this special mode:

1. Autoaim is too accurate - no matter if you zig-zag or whatever, they'll always hit you.

2. 2014 edition had a regular crew that was easy to train with exp for winning races. Skills made different builds and tactics possible.

3. Why no module damage? Tracking played a huge part in each race in 2014 edition. I've had Repairs and Deadeye and was able set enemy tanks on fire on multiple occasions.

4. It's a race not encounter battle, so why the cap?

 

In my opinion you have turned a really fun mode into a grinding / homework type of thing.

Not enjoying it so far though only 2 games played.

Chaffee I found way to hard for me to control or maybe just be being too old for this mode

T-50 was ok I could manage that.

 

Seems an all or nothing game winning gets you everything losing gets you nothing which in a one on one game is fine but this is a team game.

My first game ended in a 2 vs 3 finish  as one team member never made it to the base

Second game ended in a 1 vs 3 game as one gave up and my other team mate got there too late.

 

There are 2 reasons I would continue playing this mode

1 Its fun well yes the racing bit is fun but losing all the time without even the satisfaction of killing a tank is a little boring

2 Gaining rewards, well that's extremely unlikely to happen I am simply unable to have much of an impact in this game mode I am not good enough.

 

The original tank racing seemed to be a lot better than this new version.

DEVELOPERS!!!!! Yesterday after every round reboot computer coz minigame, freezing. Please fix this, today after every round aiming setup crash to default. So WTF is that???

May somebody help me ?! , I didn't choose team for " The great race " , and I cant play this challenge . Is there any way to allow me that I can choose a team now ?!
I know I can earn additional points from referral mode .

So, i have no time during this period, and why not "buy my way out..."

 

If i pay the 1600gold, do i get only the commander, or i also get the rewards for each achieved rank? Like credits, crew XP, emblems etc

How the hell do you start a race? I see the menu, drivers etc, but no where the option to start a race

I had the same problem. Just filter the appropriate tanks in the garage (there is a button down left) .

Select the chaffe for example, and press start... as simple as that

If I remember right, the 2014 one had a cap already.

So far very disapointing both in design, functionality and the implementation to your customers.  Let down.

@Wargaming: If someone pays to unlock a portrait, do they keep getting pieces of that portrait as wasted random rewards, or do all future fragments go to the other portraits?

Had no idea I had to join a team before hand and now locked out from any team awards.

Wargaming, reopen the ability to join the race for everybody as you have announced wrong information about this event right from the begining. Many people were led to believe that the pick-crew deadline will be available until 24th of September.

 

Here, the community has found your information posted on Spanish webpage version (imagine how many people missed the oportunity to join the race!):

Also, on English version, you have stated that the team-pick deadline will be until the 23rd of September, but failed to mention the exact time. Which lead many people to believe that the deadline will end, as all weekend missions do, on the Tuesday morning.

 

Also, you have mentioned that people who will not chose the team now will be able to do it later.

 

CORRECT YOUR MISTAKE WARGAMING - REOPEN THE TEAM-PICK ABILITY NOW - SAVE YOUR EVENT - TIME IS CRITICAL!
