New perks and skills

since the skills and perks  section of the game has not been updated for ages 

here are  some perks and skills ideas:

make the six sense a skill that works at 1% but very slow and it scales of its percentage until it be the same as the current six sense when its 100% 

new perk : (cumulative experience) : start battle with -6% from all the crew but gain 2% per every min passes max gain is 18% at min 9 

new perk : (sharp ears) : the ability to give you the direction of enemy when they destroy obstacles 

radio operator perk : (radio expert) : standing still 5m away or closer from a destroyed enemy  tank for 10 seconds gives you the last position of his  team mates at the time he died for 4 seconds on the map

commander perk : (sharp eye) increase the max enemy render distance by 50m 

loader perk : (this might be hard to implement but i will still give it a try) [Martyrdom] : at the time of your tank destruction all left He shells explode around you, damage and the radius depends on the number of  He shells left and their explosion radius 

gunner perk : (last stand) : after you get destroyed you have 1.5 seconds to turn the turret and aim and 3 seconds to shot ( works only when your gun is not destroyed, you turret is not jammed and your gun was loaded before you died)

driver perk: (water caution) : increase the maximum duration your tank last under water by 5 seconds.

new perk : (scavenger) : standing still 5m away from a destroyed tank (friendly or enemy) insta reloads your consumables (repair kit,first aid kit and fire extinguisher)

radio operator perk : (frequencies thief) : standing still 5 m away from destroyed enemy tank for 12 seconds gives you the ability to know when enemy has been targeting you or aiming up to 3 m away from you for atleast 4.5 seconds ( this will work the same way six sense works you got notifiction after the enemy arty has been aiming on top of you or up to 3 m away from you for 4.5 seconds atleast)

as you saw above some of the new perks awards the front line and close quarters tankers which makes sense since you are the one who is most likley to be focused first.

Well mate you have to connsider that most of the times you wont use those until you are on the 3 or atleast second skill when the progress becomes harder and harder and things like bia, repair, six sense , accuracy improving skills and camo are much much more important depending on your tank as a heavy tank those wont be very helpful if you get perma tracked bia is just better than the cumulative experience over all since you are much much more better early and u dont get out scaled until its min 6 (bia +5% all the time when cumulative experience is -6% so you need 6 mins to get 12% and u compensate for the -6% early then get another 6% to outscale the bia) 

and as sniper your camo bia are much more important than those as light u need camo for scouting ,bia for early stats , SIX SENSE becuase you are light obviously etc...... and it goes the same for meds and artys 

so to get those new perks you have to give up essential perks that you wont feel until you lose them try to play with 100% crew without perks and skills trust me it will be very akward and underperforming

Good ideas, this game should compete with WOW classic! OP shows how.

Some of them might be ok, but some definitely not.

Destroyed tank is destroyed and needs to stay like that. No shots beyond the grave.

Ammo explotion. Shells do not explode, they burn violently so they do not harm other tanks near by.

well mate shoting 50 mm cupola with 130 mm shell that has 250 mm pen doesnt damage the tank most of the times it jus over pen both sides and your good to go 

this game isnt very very realistic so 300 damage the the tank thats hugging after you get destroyed  if you have maybe lets say 12 he shells left wont break the game or completely change the meta

1vs1 that will often mean a draw.

I believe that there isn't many who would like that.

Getting more draws aka defeats won't make game experience better.

or it makes the game more intense since you dont always drive without thinking just because you have hp adv

nice ideas.... Wot should be think about those ..because those will bring back the game on the top

Sixth sense should be a skill for all commanders, like when he/she gets 100% base skill he/she unlocks it by default.

Personally I thought off some skills, like one that will lessen negative RNG, up to 5% at 100% skill for the gunner, or a loader skill that would increase your rate of fire, but instead off goind down to 10% health, it would work when you're under fire by multiple opponents.

I must say there is some good stuff here.

 

I like these ones the most and they are not game breaking:

  • driver perk: (water caution) : increase the maximum duration your tank last under water by 5 seconds.
  • new perk : (scavenger) : standing still 5m away from a destroyed tank (friendly or enemy) insta reloads your consumables (repair kit,first aid kit and fire extinguisher)

These two ideas are great, but the rest is garbage.

Or some more realistic ones

 

  • Hot dogs - crew can cook lunch on the flames of the 3rd fire hit in a row when your extinguisher is used up
  • Valium - reduces shock to the commander when an unspotted heavy tank suddenly appears 20 metres from you in the open
  • Tuning - allows the commander to improve the noise of your shells bouncing off the enemy
  • Lost hope - gunner has a match to detonate own ammo
  • Strictly - Allows crew to perform cool dance moves, because everyone can see them anyway
  • Library - Allows crew to bring reading books to relieve the loneliness when the entire team leaves them to hold a flank alone
  • Backside - Allows commander to ask tanks that somehow got behind you if his [edited]looks big in this
  • Spooky - Gunner develops powers as a medium to communicate with ghost shells and find out where they have gone

I can guarantee you that if that martyrdom perk is added, it's not a brawling game. It's a "lets fight 200m away just be sure" game. And that "other game" did try that cupola trick. As in no damage but to the crew. It did not end too well in terms of fun factor or balance for most tanks that can't pen the tank anywhere else.

Believe it or not, some of those inc the water one is in some shape of form on console. On console it maxes the drowning time by 2x once at 100% iirc. Is it game breaking? On some maps it can be. As in arty and TD's like to use them to get to islands and hide. And thus those without it can't get to them, and you have a ninja that wrecks anyone going into that area. Like K2 on Fjords. Tho that said, most of their maps are still on the pre HD layout vs us.
