I guess that taking stats from Jackson and basically just adding 200 more hit points makes a good VII TD?
Why the longer barrel 90mm gun does not have at least 190mm pene and 0,32 dispersion? It would make the vehicle at least comparable with other VII vehicles. Now its just a bulletsponge VI TD with matchmaking up to tier IX (those vehicles can not be penetrated even by gold ammo).

TDs were usually known for their guns, however on this TD you can pick a much bigger gun (yet its still 90mm), which has only 1 difference from the previous, and that is +1cm penetration. Well, WG can just take their 1cm and stuff it.
This vehicle is waiting for rebalance for years. I pointed out that it needs rebalance while this game was still in beta, and now its still the same bad joke of a TD.
Wargaming lost a load of time adding new vehicles, and vehicles that were present when the game came out are now just an easy prey.

Imo the T25/2 should be played more as a medium and not as a TD

It has a turret.

It's more than enough to compesate the little shortcomings.

Turret is of almost no use on this tank. It has to engage targets from distance, so the turret is not needed that much. If one gets closer with this tank, he gets killed instantly, as everyone focuses on lightly armored vehicles in random battles, so if you get spotted, you are dead in seconds. It needs a gun, its a tank destroyer! But somehow the gun is not only incomparable with other TDs, but also with HTs, and even some MTs have better gun. I dont really get how can WG call it a tank destroyer.

Just three marked this and quite liked it tbh.

Coming from Hellcat, on paper the T25/2 really doesn't seem to be anything special. However, when you realize that instead of a TD it is actually the best american tier 7 MT, you get rolling. You can abuse ridgelines or even go and spot for others. There is always some role you can fill with it.

I would easily take this one over tier 7 TDs like AC 46, AT 7 or SU-152. I mean heck, I don't know if there is another tech tree TD at tier 7 I would take over T25/2.

That being said, I would take most of the MTs over this one but that is probably more due to my play style than the statistics.

^apart from the fact SU has no stock grind. and can outtrade anything shot-for-shot in it's tier range.

What stock grind?!? Hellcat gun is basically the same as top gun on T25/2. So it doesn't get much better with upgrades anyway.

Ofc these are personal opinions, but I prefer T25/2 quite a bit over any turretles TD.
