why has it become a habit to have so many updates, seems to have about 2 updates a week or even more?

no, I'm not referring to the mods , I just want to understand why we have so many unannounced micro patches and so frequently, stuff never seen until these months

and above all the game is starting to really take up too much disk space in the full hd version , soon we will reach 50gb , currently we are at 44gb , 35,5gb with active file compression on windows.

Bloatware is common is a world full of tweekers

My mobile phone never stops downloading garbage from google playstore

Then I delete it all to update an app I need because my phone is "full"

This happens weekly

This time it was new content, as in content they wanted to keep a secret until it appeared in the store. And since the last two months have been event heavy. Most patches are realted to those. As in adding them and updating the garage banners and event tanks, then adding fixes to the events a day later as it was broken, then fixing the stuff that broke due to other fixes a few days after that again, and then an update to remove then and the tanks from the garage before they add a new event with a patch... again.

And races have had 3 fixes already, 2 was to fix what the other fixes broke, inc the bumps on the bridges.

Yeah WG should just stop developing the game or adding new features to keep the mods intact!

Yeah, but they could vastly improve the garage filter to more closely match that provided by XVM, as well as adding a clock in the garage (not a huge priority but easy to do) and while WG did add those ridiculous, massive hit indicators, (which I immediately turned off) they still haven't implemented the automatic crew transfer for Premium vehicles (and back again).

Barring these, the only other mod I really like (when I bother to install mods- which is not often) is the team HP counters. Now that really gives you a better idea of how the situation is.

Xvm is to me an Essential quality of Life mod ( 4+ rows in tank carousel, better filter, clock, stats etc.

and especially I need a different crosshair as the vanilla ones are a pita and hardly visible.

Can't thank the xvm Team enough for their dedication.

I choose to play vanilla, but I wish some of the ease of use features in some mods would make their way into the standard game client a bit quicker!

In my case, I just use a garage UI mod and a crew voicepack mod. /poortroll

I would be more than happy to have a couple of patches a week if these were (in addition to fixing bugs and the like) to fix small features of the various OP / UP tanks and get quick feedback, instead of having broken tanks for years.

Who said i don't use xvm ? People are crying for mods so hard every update it's just like they can't handle the game without mods. If you use mods just for quality of life then it shouldn't bother you that much. /poorweab

Go find any more than the above post of mine mentioning repeated updates. I'm waiting.

Found any? No? So I'm not crying. You're just being offensive for no reason. Reflect on your actions.

Vanilla for this reason. I would like to have some variable garage optiins in the game though. Also tank filters should be improved, give us secondary and tertiary options as well so we can make our own system...

I am not being offensive for no reason. Too lazy to search but there was another thread recently complaining about the frequency of the updates and in the end it turned out that the problem was mods again.

Few peoples seems to realize but for an online game WG is doing a pretty good job on the frequency and quality of updates. Updates are always good news for online games, wot needs to keep updating the game with events and new content regularly to keep his playerbase alive, this is essential. Real sadness when an online game you like lose all his players.

So yeah, *Edited mods if it's the price to pay to get frequent content updates, and the players who can't handle this game without mods. *Edited

All that people want is stat part of XVM.

Most of XVM's components sre already integrated, silly goose.

Then as I said, it shouldn't be an issue to play without it a couple of days. Hence my suspicions of a player having a hard time to play without mods.

Is the forum too hard for you to read properly ? /poorbrony

Why exactly would you not take advantage of something, that is available in the base game? I don't buy your logic.

'kay then.

Not worth any more of my time.

Just a quick FYI though: These daily updates aren't updating anything gameplay-wise. It's just because of the events taking place, which for some reason need constant client-side updates...instead of server-side...poor planning is to blame here.
