People of the English forums!

I am in need of your dire help in these trying times.

I'm grinding the IKV 65 II. What's the best alcoholic drink to minimize the frustration that this tank evokes?

It's like the ARL 44 but a TD. Only thing it has okay is its alpha damage of 240, but with a reload time of over 9 seconds (it's 8-ish with the stock gun), it's still a flunk.

DPM is not great.

Armor is a wet dream.

The gun arc has me screaming.

It turns like a TOG.

Shell velocity - you're better off throwing watermelons.

Camo - it's okay? But it's still a big tank.

I already have some wine and rakija, but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Mix 4cl Bread drink with 4 cl ricin and 4 cl 80vol Wermouth.

You will enjoy grinding that tank.

Bloody alcoholics! :D

@OP Watch some of this stream. This was a 3 marking session of the tank. It isn't a very good tank but that will help you get rid of it as fast as possible.

Play to its "strengths"

Its an end game tank that can be quite fast (it can keep up with play) - nip in at the end and steal damage close up

Whisky is good, because all it needs as a mix is water and, unlike vodka, it tastes of something and, unlike rum or brandy or liqueurs, will not give you a headache.

It is scientifically established that the most rapid and efficient absorption of alcohol into the body is at 20 percent.

Therefore a 50/50 mix of Scotch and water is ideal for playing tanks.

Moreover, if you are interested in preserving your weight and teeth it is worth bearing in mind that Scotch contains neither sugar nor carbohydrates.

Off-topic: I like it. It's still in my garage.

  • Tier 6
  • Ø Damage 702,40
  • Ø XP 374
  • Battles 207
  • Victories 54,11%

and how about this for a battle? http://wotreplays.eu...y-ikv_65_alt_ii

So I suggest a nice cup of tea or coffee and maybe a biscuit. :)

So I'm midway through this line.

I actually liked the IKV 65 and the 90 and enjoyed the somewhat short grind.

However I've just rage sold the udes 03 after two sessions. The 1st was 11 games where I burnt up 4 times in those games but at least had decent...ish maps where I could use it's strengths. The 2nd of also 11 games was horrendous as I burnt 3 times and managed a paltry 1100 average damage due to the maps/teams.

And I shall not be starting it again. When you are stationary it's easy, shoot, wait, shoot. But if you want any damage end game you need to actually drive and shoot - this is where the tank fails as you need to turn with your tracks and you can 't get the same movement you can with a slight turret rotation and the god awful gun elevation that means you can't actually hit the tank you are aiming at without going into siege mode etc

it literally is the worst tank ever when you are trying to attack, which for me, is reason to never play that line again

The tier 6 IKV isn't bad. You have to play with the good rating and okay-ish DPM. The gun isn't bad, and can damage much tiers 6-7-8 tanks it will face. It's a good support/ambush TD when using it's okay gun depression and camo.

Never rush with that tank, except if you're certain to finish the enemy quickly. Always be in a bush far away. On city maps, play it as an ambush tank. I don't know what other advices I could give you ...

That's a point of view, certainly.

Mine would be that all whisky benefits from a touch of water.  Not all would agree.

But why are you drinking that ghastly rubbish Glenfiddich anyway?  Mass-produced, heavily advertised, and over-priced.  Highly regarded by Filipino T-Girls

Try plastic bag. It goes head really quick.

Platoon full of IKV 90s < One IKV 65.
