What lines would you grind, and why?

I would not start all over again but instead get me a different Hobby or Game to play.

I have too many Tanks and 5 Skill crews,

No way I am gonna grinding that in the currrent state of the game

Probably would have started with Object 705A and Object 140/430U lines instead of E100 and Leopard. I will never reroll though.

Pick a tech tree med line, grind it to tier 6 and when i am accustomed to the game just buy a couple of tier 6 premiums and consider that my endgame....

As others have said way too many issues with the game that IMO wargaming will not address/fix so no way would I start again. Why pay £30 plus for a semi-reasonable pixel tank when I can buy a complete new race in Warhammer Total war for less than half that price to about one sixth the price !

With the arty issues with the WV with the power creep with the poor map selection and many many more issues it is much easier to look at other games. That is the issue wargaming face.

I will continue to play because I like tank warfare games and have invested a lot of time into this game but all it will need is a good competitor to arrive, to be reasonable on prices for tanks etc and it will be bye bye to wargaming.

But hypothetically if I started again British mediums, Russian mediums (T44 through to 430  but possibly the T54 line as well) and Italian mediums. I love TD's especially the Tortoise and above but really the grind is not good so though I love them would probably not grind that properly till after mediums above.

Batchat 25t line (cuz I love the batchat and also the t8 bc12t), Obj 277 line (all nice tanks on the line), T110E5 line (T29 and T32 and T110e5 yay, M103 ugh), Super Conqueror line (Church 7, BP ugh, others yay), Progetto line, looks like nice to play to me. I wouldn't play the E100 line (only like the E75), French TD line (obvious reasons).

I would just stop. Can't stand low tier gameplay, don't like grinding potato tanks with bad crews, can't be arsed to spend more time chasing flavour of the month vehicles. I've pretty much stopped playing as is, let alone if I'd have to grind all my tanks again.

And my favourite tank requires another go at the frenchies, while the duck provided memetastic times, once is more than enough of that.

With my current knowledge of the game, I wouldn't.

I would not start the Polish line at all. Although the 25 TP is in my garage, I don't feel that I deserve the WR that it has, and although I am not terrible in the 45 TP, I can't see that being a keeper either. The rest you can stick where the sun does not shine.

I would not play French TDs past the ARL V39 and wouldn't bother with French HTs at all. I would play to that nice tier V med, the Renault G1.

I would not play Japanese meds after the Chi-Nu. Neither would I play Japanese HTs, although I might get the Type 95.

I would play the Chinese TDs again, but I would stop at the tier VII. The tier VIII is a pig. I still haven't played past tier VI in the tanks, so don't have an opinion.

I would not play ANY light tank line other than the French. I need something for LT missions. Similarly, I would play (only) the US and UK SPGs for missions.

I would play German TDs but I'd stop at the Jagdpanther and Rhm Borsig WT respectably. I would NOT play German HTs except to own the Tiger I. I mean, IT'S THE TIGER! I probably would only play meds to the Pz III/IV.

Other than that, I would largely play the same, but might just take a bit more time over each tier and train crews using Gold.

Oh arty probably USA line first followed by German line. I rather like arty, suits my recumbent position on the bonkquet whilst playing.

This time around I may not make a pigs ear of the game....

the problem with this aproach is that with the knowledge I have today, starting over would be pointless, because exploring the game was a big part of my original attraction to it.

The same i grinded with my only tier X, IS-7 but with the old line, i liked a lot t-10
Instead i got obj. 257 but i sold it after let's say 20 games.
Not a bad tank but i was more used to the T-10 gameplay at the time
But i would avoid starting other lines unless they're branch of the same i've grinded
And Is-7 gives you the opportunity to switch to Arty and u get the kv-2....who doesn't love kv-2 cmon!!?

Speaking of other lines
LT the sherdian (french LT are not bad and actually u get 3 different tier 9 and 10 but...autoloaders do not suits me so much)
TD swed
Arty USA
Med prolly T44
I don't have any tierx of those lines but they're quite a fun to play
